Only water this week, cups are simply to hold a slight higher RH during this delicate week. Lineage; Hotcakes (Katsu Bubba X Burnt Toast from Raw Genetics) X Grape Ape I started with a Tester pack of 10 Regular seeds, which has turned into a beautiful bunch of plants now at the end of week 2. They've been color coded to ensure we can easily pull the males & sort the girls in the coming week or so...judging on their vigour it'll be sooner than later.. We'll be checking on them daily to track their sexes, I do have two veg spaces as to keep them apart but always stay vigilant my gardening friends :p They received their first dose of Nutrient this week which has really kept them flying through veg, thus far i'm seriously impressed by this grow. As we approach ever closer to having "mature plants" i've brought out the macro lens to document their pre flowers as they develop. Lineage; Hotcakes (Katsu Bubba X Burnt Toast from Raw Genetics) X Grape Ape Welcome to Week 4 Some exciting changes/ discoveries this week including finding our first Male; refer back to photo's16-17, granted they are not the best quality. T2; Plant 3; was Male If you look closely you'll see one very tiny ball sack ;) lol It was the only one on the entire plant. just goes to show you need to be very cautious when defoliating this early ! Small increase of Nutrient also this week should be noted, they are now enjoying full strength veg food from Remo. Noteworthy Plant Details T1; P2, most vigorous growth of the three, Slight Sweet smell from plucking water leaves, But still questioning Female status. T2; P2, Most Vigorous growth of the three, no real smell yet, & still early for female status. T3; P1, Largest of the bunch by far, Smells like Sugar with a Gassy touch, Estimated #1 Draft pick for keeper status, pending female confirmation. (mind you one or two aren't quite confirmed, double check this next week) If you look closely you'll see a couple more dick pics ;) lol Still on their same diet, but it should be noted they've almost double their water intake.. these rockets are about to take off !💪 I feel like one more week of simple vegative growth, before the end of next week topping, & seeing how the girls respond to a little training. Noteworthy Plant Details; Blue Tag, Plant 1; Largest foliage, Smells Very Sweet with a Gassy touch, THE #1 Draft pick Keeper Status Achieved, female confirmed. Thus Far Katsu has Not Disappointed this pack is Real Deal Dank & we haven't even hit flower yet...but she's starting to smell ! (6 of 10 is pretty damn good if you ask me) It will be interesting to see how each of the girls react to this weeks topping, as they all seem to have fairly different growth patterns already... we'll just have to wait & see. I have to make sure I pick the right Girl to keep around for the 2021 Outdoor Season.. right 😉 Hopefully next week I'll have amore in-depth view into their response to training.. enough to take cuttings... & start flowering ! Lineage; Hotcakes (Katsu Bubba X Burnt Toast from Raw Genetics) X Grape Ape Welcome to Week Seven, our last Veg Entry These Girls loved the topping last week.. & didn't really miss a beat as far as growth is concerned, a minor delay but still cracked an inch worth of height gained this week. As most seam to have a very tight growth pattern I honestly think they're going to be monsterous tower's in the coming weeks. with that in mind I gave everyone a good leg shave to increase those chances. Also The Frist trellis is up ! after talking with Katsu about how much he thinks this particular strain may stretch.. i've decided to hang 2 lines of support across these girls. this first being right as we move into FLOWER ! teh second line will go up one the stretch stops..(week3-4 maybe we will see) With that being said, after a slight flush @6.6ph Water, & 24 Hours of darkness happening as I type this entry.. They will receive their first Flower Feeding in the Morning! & the next entry will be our first week of flower ! It is always a blast working from a pack of Reg Seed, let alone an Exciting project like these Katsu beans ! and as we move into flower next week I've taken cuts that I'm hopeful will ensure I have the BEST of the Best Flowers from this run to keep for another run at least.. and maybe even outdoor 2021. This week, most notably the boy who showed up late to the party in tent 2.. we moved carefully to sneak it out of the tent... hopefully we didn't cross any pollon... I hope 😑 I think ill keep this boy because of how fast & stinky he is... maybe one day ill breed something or just save the beans for another run in the future. We left everyone alone this week.. just pushing leafs over to allow canopy Light penetration.. this run thus far has gone off with out a hitch.. plants are very hearty & happy as could be expected. Welcome to Week 10, & 21 days into flower ! Feeling pretty under the weather today, not only because i seem to have picked up a head cold..( I've already been tested for covid.. negative..) Pretty annoyed that no matter how much i interact on this site, try to build friendships that benefit both of us reading each others work.. none will even visit my diary, but what is the point in crying about it.., BUT at the same point, why bother writing.. none reads it lol Enjoy your fucking Week. ill see none next week

Grape Ape Cake ! Lineage; Hotcakes (Katsu Bubba Kush X Burnt Toast (from Raw Genetics) X Grape Ape An Exciting New Collab from Katsu Bluebird ! Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. Week 12, & the End of 5 weeks of flowering (37 Days of 12/12) Welcome back, & or Thanks for Joining us ! Everything Ran smoothly this week, these girls are hungry ! Note the feeding increase; On both side's of the coin, the Strength of her concentration as well as the Litre amount per feeding. They've increased to damn near drinking 2L every 24H. Impressing me more each week. I brought the RH down another notch aiming for 30% to allow plenty of breathing room for these monstrous colas to form. Plant Note's; Plant 2 Has an Incredible aroma of sweet grapeyness ! The colours she's sharing with us are something out of this word for sure. Plant 3 is so thick already I'm glad I have plenty of trellis support for her in the coming weeks, she's going to need it. The smell off this one is incredibly dank already... The Boy continues to impress me with his snowy structure, I spent more than a few hours checking out Katsu Bluebirds blog & found some very interesting articles that have sparked the idea of crossing this boy back to Plants 2 & 3 ! Holding steady with their feeding this week, as i'll be taking this round into weeks 9-10 of flower. Plant Note's; Plant 2; is really is colourful, but lacks the star power that plant 3 acquired this week. Plant3; is so thick & frosty, & as of this week is showing some incredible colour as well.. making her now the number 1 draft pick out of the clones taken earlier this grow. There is an amazingly Sweet, kushy, dankness emulating from this tent. I am very excited. Week 14, & the End of 7 weeks of flowering (51 Days of 12/12) THE COLOUR'S are Incredibly gorgeous this week ! Nothing but smooth sailing for this week as well, you'll notice the most prominent change was the temperature drop... This is the first half of my simulated "first frost of the fall" This week will run slightly colder than the beginning of flowering, & to finish the simulated frost when we come to the first flush I'll ice them to really drop that root zone temp before flying into the final flush. Decided to share my breeding pair this week also... two cuts i've selected to breed back with that Jiz monster male, very exciting times in the boys club. Plant Note's; Plant 2; is certainly lacking the bulk that plant 3 has but nun the less this pheno is stunning.. & smells of sweet grape jam ! Plant3; the difference of the flowers between these two pheno's is very interesting to me.. as they are nothing alike. The color has darkened so fast on this entire plant, not just so much the tips of the calyx's but all the foliage has gone a deep, deep purple.. & The Rancidly Pungent Sweetness cannot be understated this plant reeks of kushy grape cough syrup.. & the colour matches.. Week 15, & the End of 8 weeks of flowering (58 Days of 12/12) That's it... This week was their last feeding... as of tomorrow these girls will receive the first flush. If you've been following along you'll notice this week we cut the Magnifical out of their diet. There should be enough left over build up in the soil to flush for the last 7-14 days. I cannot understate the smell.. every time I open a tent it takes over the room, dank.. very dank indeed. So SO very sweet with the gassiest overtone I've yet to find anywhere else ! Katsu wasn't messing around when this Gem was created ! Plant Note's; Bothe Plant 2,3,4 will likely go the full 70 days, Plants 1 & 5 seam like they will be ready closer to 61... stay close, exciting times ahead for this diary ! Week 15, & the End of 9 weeks of flowering (65 Days of 12/12) Well Here we are, the last flower entry.. only one more entry the HARVEST of these Gorgeously Dank Flowers from Katsu. We are Seven Days into the flush & thus far everyone is holding steady ! Only 3-7 more day's for the group ! As your can see plants One & Five are the quickest of the Pheno's, they received their last watering today & once they dry back 50% of todays water they'll be into 24-48 hours darkness before the chop. As for Plants Two & Four are they Longest running of the Pheno's they will likely receive another watering, & run another 7 days. Plant Three is the one i'm watching closest ! this plant is SHOWSTOPPING... Grape Candies Dipped in Gasoline floods the floor, the moment I open the tent.. This particular pheno may go 7 more days maybe not.. Its very close to the finish line either way... I'm Drooling. The most exciting part about starting to pull plants is the ability for my to take some better isolated Bud Shot photo's ! :)I wish I had the funds to keep upgrading my photography gear but its an expensive hobby...maybe ONE DAY lol!💪 The Boys Club saw a little bit of action this week as well.. a long over due hand job for the jizz monster. I am very excited to cross this guy back with a cut of Pheno 3.. & maybe something else but I need to find it first.. any thoughts ? Grapes &...? This process used to be SO damn time consuming.. until the Trim Bin.. The recommendation is to use 1/10 ratio of baking flower as a natural absorbent to keep the moisture away from your pollen.. as you can see I dumped a bunch out after the first photo lol I cant wait to Share coming weeks as the Wonderful Harvest is almost here ! The Number's; Started with; 564g Wet on the Scale Finished with; 263g Dried Flower. Plus some Pollen for a Personal project.. IMO; Definitely decent yields for a pheno hunt.
