Planted both seeds into 5gal cloth pots filled with about 4gals of substrate, I mixed worm castings into the bottom 3rd of the pot, the rest is fox farm happy frog soil and extra perlite. Premoistened with 2Ls of phd water and have been adding roughly 2Ls every 2 days. Counting November 20th as day 1!
Something happened with these 2, and I've come up with 3 possibilities. #1 my humidity where I live has been extremely dry, humidity swings have already happened a couple times from my humidifier running empty, these 2 may have been more sensitive. #2 some dumby forgot to PH down his well water on these 2 the 2nd time he watered the pots (me) cause he's a space case. Other 2 strains are doing good. Or #3 soil got a bit too hot for them with worm castings in the bottom. Not sure, not much I can do except make sure I'm PHing correcting because it totally looks like PH wrinkle to me, and I've seen it before! But I swear I PH downed her 😅
The smaller one now seems about a week behind, the bigger one has almost recovered and caught back up, shes ready for a top in a couple days. Hoping they bounce back from my mystery mess up(still thinking I musta forgot to PH a watering)
The bigger one has sure bounced back nicely after the wrinkly leaves. I topped her about day 16 and it hasn't slowed her down. The smaller one I believe might not even get topped, we will see what happens! Half dose of bloom nutes coming soon, mid week I added a cup of worm castings to the top soil
Added first dose of biobloom mixed in some more worm castings, small ones still struggling with a small root base but bigger one is now almost caught up to the rest of the tent!
These girls are coming along, even my tents runt is getting some size, might not just be a couple gram plant after all! I love the genetics. Goes to show auto flowers are fairly unforgiving, but definitely worth it
Sadly I had to cull the bigger nicer one this week, she started producing balls. Was gonna just pluck them until I noticed how many branches had them, she was fed to the piggies. The small ones catching up, gonna keep a very close eye on her as I've heard manbearalienpig has had herm issues, and now I've witnessed it in this cross. 3BOG is known to give dense nugs, so hopefully out of the 2 seeds ill get some buds.
My pictures were rushed and half ended up blury on friday(posting a few days late) I've kind of ended up starving my plants a bit this round overall, while I thought it might be burn, likely a bunch of unanswered deficiencies, looking like well over 2 weeks left one this girl, but I'm liking how she's been doing besides deficiencies of my own doing!
