Dropped 5 different strain seeds into root riot cubes and wet with bottled water. Medium is Fox Farm Coco Loco in 3 gallon fabric pots.
Set heater to 77 deg. with humidifier around 66% and one autocob light on for 24hrs until germination. I have one small fan moving air around.
Edit: Well 11/28 and the seeds have popped three days after planting. The White widow is still trying to get cotyledons out of her shell. Anyways Saturday seems like a good day for day one 😊
Week 1 in the books. I think the Riot Rooter plugs worked out pretty good in combination with FF Coco Loco.
Pretty decent growth for week one except for they got a little stringy from having the light to far away.
Also noticed a little nute burn from the Coco Loco but its all good.
Week 2 down and girls r Happy.
Day 10 3rd node is growing out.
Day 12 4th node is growing out. Some better than others
Day 14 4th and 5th nodes are developing.
Started Mega crop V3 this week at 1/8tsp per gallon along with the Tribus at 1ml per gallon. Watering every 3 day and feeding each watering.
Cream Cookies seems to be behind the rest of girls. All have good color and loving life.
On day 14 I topped at the 3rd node for all 5 plants. I removed growth below 3rd node.
On day 18 I gave a 2nd cut to make 4 main colas to AP,GG and ZK
On day 19 WW got its 2nd cut
On day 20 CC got its second cut. The plants are growing and responding at different rates as I thought they would.
I reduced my feeding of Mega Crop down to 1/16 tsp. per gallon of water but the girls have some Nitrogen toxicity. I will most likely give only ph water next time or two.
Also found some fungus gnats so I put out sticks traps and put down some Diatomaceous earth. Also moved fans around for more air flow.
All 5 plants should get 4 cuts each in week 4 to make 8 main colas. I expect after week 4 they'll start pre flower.
Day 22 AP, GG and ZK got their 3rd and final cut.
Day 23 WW got her 3rd and final cut.
Day 24 CC got her 3rd and final cut.
The rest of the week was staking down braches so they'll have room for stretch in flower.
Unfortunately I snapped a branch on Cream Cookie 😢 duck taped it as quick as could.
Watering has jumped up to every 2 days ph 6.3-6.8 with 20% runoff
Flower Fuel has been added to AP,GG and ZK watering's.
Lights have been lowered to 24-28 inches.
White Widow just started flower at end of the week. Still waiting on the Cream Cookie.
Doing light Defoliation to expose bud sites to the lights.
1/8 tsp of Flower Fuel for AP,GG, ZK
1/16 tsp for WW and none for CC
1/8 tsp of Mega Crop for all the girls
Cream Cookies has a few white hairs but not in full flower yet. Gave her some light defoliation today.
Well it was a bad week for these girls they got a nutrient lockout probably from feeding to often and upping the feed to high to fast. They all got flushed and now back to feeding at lower dose but I lost some valuable growth😢 Always a learning curve with different nutes and soils.
AP is going to be done soon and ready the dry tent and then ZK and GG are right behind her. CC and WW have a ways to go yet.
Alaskan Purple was put in dry tent on Day 66. She has a fruity citrus smell to her.
Gorilla Glue was put in the dry tent today. She has a citrus smell.
Zkittlez was also put in dry tent today. She has nice fruity smell.
White widow is still going, all the trichomes haven't turned yet.
Cream Cookie I don't know yet. she has something going on.
