There is a really strange assymetry between some of the lower branches. I initially thought this was due to improper irradiation of the canopy so I started giving the pot a 180-degree rotation every time I would visit the tent but this did nothing so I assumed this was just a result of the genetics. Don't ask me how this happens but yeah, I took that set of nodes as clones when transplanting this plant into its next pot size (2.5L). Here's hoping the clones take successfully and the mother warms into its new home.

Keep getting this slimy green algae forming on the surface of the coco coir medium. Not sure if this is temperature dependent but it's pretty annoying, not sure if it's having a detrimental effect on the plant but I'd rather it wasn't here lol

"If you see green stuff growing on the top of your coco (algae) it’s often a sign that you’re watering too often. Although algae won’t hurt your plants directly, it only appears when the top of the coco has been constantly wet for a long time."

You just need to block the light to the medium. You can use something called Panda film for a commercial product, or something as simple as a piece of tin foil.

Block the light any way you can. The green algae is pretty normal and not really harmful, but you're right, it is annoying and it does use up some oxygen.
