Dirty_rootZ SOLO CUP GROW!
Got a handful of Kings mix and a handful of perlite, mixed in some diatomaceous earth & Great white mycorrhizae. I mixed that together and then filled a solo cup 1/3 of the way. I just put the seed straight in the soil, nothing special. Gave a bit of water @ 6.6ph and covered with a ziploc bag. Left in the dark in a closet.
On the second day I put her on a heat mat and in a dome to control environment better. Outside the done the temp is 70⁰ 40RH
I put her under light on the 3rd day.
She looks to be sprouting after about 64 hr.
She's finally out of the dirt. Sprayed the medium with some water only about 2-3 mls worth.
Audrey is growing beautifully, she's 3 days old now. For those who don't know she gets her name from the movie Little shop of horrors; Feeeeedd MMeeeee!

Dirty_rootZ So she's been out of the soil a week, growing good so far. Waiting to see roots hitting the bottom of the cup so I can "transplant"

Dirty_rootZ Start of week 2 and she's looking great. Some people count week 1 as the "seedling" 🌱 stage, so I guess you could also count it as week 1 of veg. Either way she's growing fast, roots have already started to peek out of of the drainage holes.
Transplanted on day 9, soil was a little wet but it didn't give me much trouble. New soil is 1/2 kings mix 1/2 roots organic with extra perlite tossed in. Let's see if she likes it.
Gave her about 2 oz of water (mixed with some great white mycorrhizae, ph 6.6) on day 11

Dirty_rootZ She is growing strong. This was going to be a grow for a contest but plans changed and i will be giving this lady away. I was definitely pleased with her rate of growth, and she's got a nice compact structure.
I'll post pics up until i give her away.
But there will be more grows to come!
She's getting big, I might top her soon. I added a bit of dirt to the bottom of the cup and gave her some water.
She's drinking fast now, had to water again on day 21. She's just begging to get transplanted, but this is a solo cup grow so she's going to have to stay put.
She got topped on day 21, as well as having some lower growth removed.

Dirty_rootZ So she recovered from getting topped. I took 2 leaves off, and checked on her roots. She's definitely root bound but other than that she's chugging along.
I'm going to try and add a bit more dirt to the bottom to give her roots some more room.

Dirty_rootZ So day 29 and the person who was supposed to be taking it off my hands still hasn't picked this lady up.
I felt bad for the plant because after deciding to give her away, I cast her aside and neglected her a bit.
So I decided to transplant her into a 1 gal filled about half way. I'm still unsure what to do with her thou.
I started some LST hopefully she starts to stretch out a bit now that she's in a bigger pot
I adjusted some of the ties, no defoliation yet thou.

Dirty_rootZ Readjusting ties almost every other day, she's growing well.
Still not sure what's going to happen with this lady.
Did some defoliation and readjusted some of the ties. She's doing great
Did some more defoliation, she's opening up great. Still small for her age thou, I'll be flipping to flower in about 10 days time.

Dirty_rootZ She's going strong, good lower growth and so far no problems
Been readjusting ties and defoliating big leaves that get in the way.
I've been debating whether I should top one last time. I don't want her to take over the grow space thou.

Dirty_rootZ She is growing good, a bit smaller that another plant I did before. That other plant was in a7 gal and then a 30+ gal pot after, and this lady is only in a 3 gal.
Other than that her node spacing is good, nice thick stems, not a lot of stretching or any burning/deficiencies.
Hopefully she turns out good.
