Insulation blue foam covered with Mylar and put together with screws and ties.PC fans connected to wall supplies and fan bars made from straws and toothpicks.
Hey guys do you think that this much lst is needed for an autoflower?
It has 20+ tops and some more lower ones that I defoliated for the light to reach.
Just asking for next grows,does it really up the yield if you have more tops or I could have the same yields with 10 tops max.
ONE NICE TIP AS OF THE COVID VIRUS I HAVE BEEN USING THESE SINGLE USE MASKS TO GO OUT AND IM RECYCLING THE STRINGS THAT HOLD THE MASK ON THE EARS TO LST!!
Hello,
I have also ordered automatic seeds from RQS. I really like the look of your grows. I'm very interested to know about your set up. What are the exact lights you are using and where did you get them from? How many kwh of electricity have you used for 1 grow?
Thank you.
@Vanderbud,Hey there my dude!
Of course I’ll tell you what I have
Well here goes:
2xLED 6500K(cold light) lamps of 16 watt each
4x30watt CFL lamps 2700K(warm light)
For a total of 32 watts of true led wattage draw and 120 watts of true CFL wattage draw.I bought these in my country from some local stores so I don’t think you’ll find the same ones but you can find similar lamps everywhere online or at your local electric store.
I’ve got all of those in a custom built grow box(80cm high,60cm wide and 60cm deep) made out of insulating blue foam(3cm thick) and some long screws to put it together with the insides covered in Mylar emergency blanket reflective material!
For air circulation I’m using 2 pc fans that I connected with two small power supplies attached on square cut openings on the box(one on each side of the box right-left).
So let’s add all that up
32watt(led)+120watt(cfl)+10-15watts(pc fans)=around 162-167 watts for this setup but I found out that I can fit one more plant in veg in there while my main plant is flowering so that I have Back to back harvests!Currently I’m having a royal dwarf in full flower that’s almost done and a 3 monther northern lights that is 50 days old And they are both very happy with the lights and air circulation (although they need tons of lst to maintain a low canopy so that they can fit).
I hope I covered your question if you need more info hmu anytime!Have a good day!
