Placed seeds in paper towels on the evening of Nov 28th. 4 layers of paper towel on the bottom, 1 on top. It was sprayed with ph’d water to moisten the paper towels. I use 3 plates. 1 inverted on a heat mat as a stand, the second right side up with the seeds and wet paper towel, and the third again inverted for a cover. I found this seems to provide the perfect temperatures and conditions for cracking seeds as evidenced by the rapid speed at which the tap root developed.
From the paper towel they were placed directly into the Cyco brand pre-rinsed and buffered 70/30 coco coir/perlite mix, in their final 5 gal Root Farm cloth pots and placed in the 4x4 tent underneath a 2000w AGLEX cob led (408 actual wattage) to sprout. Side note...even though the cyco coco coir is pre rinsed and buffered I still like to rinse it first. Even though I had very little contaminates in my run off. I also buffered with 10ml/gal of Remo MagnifiCal.
Once the lights warmed up the 4x4 tent, the humidity dropped to 35%. As I was waiting to pick up a humidifier and didn’t have one on hand, I hung a wet towel, with a styrofoam cooler partially filled with water as a drip pan. I left the end of the towel submerged so it would act as a wick, drawing more water up out of the cooler as the towel dried. It worked better than expected and in just a couple hours brought the humidity up from 35% to 53%. The next day my humidifier arrived and I put it on the timer with my 4” exhaust fan, which was running at a reduced speed, 20 minutes of every hour. It worked to keep the humidity and temps constant
Both seeds sprouted through the coco on the evening of Dec 2 but weren’t upright until Dec 3rd.
Alternating feedings between plain ph’d water and a reduced amount of Remo nutrients
@Festerus, haha awesome, and thanks! I'm currently 14 weeks into the grow, just trying to get caught up on the diaries. Hoping to get all caught up over the next few days

@DreamOn, thanks! I may need it! Lol I’m limited to 5 weeks of veg, starting from the day they poked through the coco. Not use to such a short veg time while Scrogging
Been slacking with updates...had a front on collision, wrote off my truck, and have been dealing with that mess and Christmas. Seedlings are coming along nicely and will update this week
