Purchased both of these strains as clones. The Larry OG was started in rock wool, while the Mandarin Cookies was purchased at just over 1 ft. tall in a soil seedling pot.

Accidentally snapped off the top of the new growth on the Mandarin Cookies; Was a clean break so I chalk it up to accidental topping. Transplanted the mandarin cookies into a 3 gallon fabric pot

Nute burn on older growth. Slight yellowing of new growths’ tips; Larry OG originally started in a rock wool cube and was then transplanted into soil. The Larry og is very small and yellow with major bleaching; Raised light height by 3in. (15in. -> 18in.)

How to deal with a plant started in rock wool, transplanted into soil

Leaves. Edges burnt

So do you think you could be overdozing her with nutes? How much and what are you using to fertilize the plant? If it is possible there's too much nuting, probably give her pure water for 2-3 days and watch. If the plants feel better, then in 5-6 days go on with the nutes. probably use less.

Have used/planted seeds and cuttings in rockwool cubes many times in soil, outdoors. Never had an issue with watering them. Used garden sprinkler and the cubes stay airy, moist and not water logged - working exactly as their manufacturer intended. Anyway, even if you do water next to the cube and not directly on it, the cube will still "suck" the water from the surrounding soil, defeating the purpose of not watering it directly. Also, not sure why you are using the volcano looking humidifier; cannabis is not a rainforest plant. Save your money by not running it. You are also creating a major risk for mould and fungus to develop on your leaves and flowers if you continue using it turned way up as in the video clip. The only issue I found when using rockwool cubes in soil is when the seedlings/cuttings are really small and it is windy, as this can actually cause the cubes to act like a wick and draw moisture out of the soil and dehydrate the seedlings/cuttings in the process. Hope this helps.... Organoman.

I start almost all my seeds in rockwool or rapid rooter by GH.. If they are going into soil or coco I treat as I normally would, but as someone said - maybe avoid directly wetting/watering the stem/rockwool area, and instead circle around it when applying water/nutes..

Last watered on dec 10; I eased up on the LST angle on the Larry OG. She’s looking a lot better than a couple of weeks ago. Although growth has been stunted substantially, I’ll try to nurse her back to the best of my abilities; We’ll see if the coffee grounds cause nitrogen toxicity, or if it pays off; The bud sites on the Mandarin Cookies have grown at least an 1 1/2in in the last week and seem to be doing well, There’s some very faint tip yellowing on the new growth so I think I’ll water with some plain ph’ed tap water and perhaps some molasses;

Last watered dec 15; Increased the supplements to ~ 1/2 of manufacturers recommended feeding charts from 1/4 strength; secondary bud sites have filled the canopy nicely with some of the inner canopy stems measuring ~4in : The left side Of the canopy is slowly catching up to the left side; LST training continues with tucking bigger fans, and tying down the main branches as they grow; The Larry OG has bounced back but is severely stunted in growth. I’ve decided to turn the Larry OG into a “Cannabonsai” : I’ve lowered the amount of water for each watering for the Larry. The rockwool is sponging up water...

Should I use a second trellis net to Further train the canopy? The pre flower stretch is hard to gauge as I only have a 2x2x4 tent

Hey man, if I was you I would be flipping to flower soon... mine was about 13inch when I flipped them and now they are 44inch.... I know all strains are different but maybe you should check on the breeders website to see how tall they grow? And if you look at my diary I'm using 2 scrog nets maybe it could you an idea what to expect... Happy Growing 🙃🙂🙃

You can but a second net should really be for supporting bending branches. If your canopy isn't even at all, maybe throw a second net in there or do some more tucking into the first net.

Jan 3; 36 hour dark period to induce flowering. Jan 5; Flipped to 11-13 light cycle Fed only ph’ed water and molasses, will monitor plants until I think it’s safe for flowering notes to be introduced into the feeding schedule; Larry OG is still small but that is ok, as I’m growing her for aesthetic purposes rather Than yield;

Hi. Gosh for a first grow looking really great and strong. I have the same tent size and struggle with veg time vs capacity. They definitely look ready. Putting up the scrog is the fun part. Enjoy!
