FrostyB Standard germination method where I place a sheet of paper towel on a plate then wet the towel on the plate and tip away any excess. I then place the seed on the wet paper towel and get another snd place it on top and then soak the towels enough so I can see the seed and then tip away any excess. I then place an identical plate on top so no light can leak in and place the plate into my heated propagator, spray the lid lightly with water to create a humid environment and leave for 24 hours. If I check and the towels are dry or I can't see the seed I will run it under the tap or use a spray bottle to wet the surface as tip away and excess. Tap route showed in just over 24 hours and then again she broke the soil in anther 24 hours. At the point no nutrients will be used for 1-2 weeks due to there being enough in the soil.

FrostyB Day 7 for this little lady and she's been a delight so far, I have been wetting the soil with a spray or two of ph water (6.5) each day.
As with most of my girls I do not use any nutrients for the first week or so as I'm using Bio Bizz All mix soil and I feel this contains enough to get them started. I will introduce light nutrients going into the second week and ease them in gently.
I usually follow the Remo Nutrient schedule but giving slightly less for the first few feeds this is always advisable with any nutrient line - easier to add more then take it away if you've given too much.
I always water with nutrients, wait for the soil to dry and when the next feed is due I just give PH water to prevent any salt etc building up - I follow this all the way through....
feed, let the soil dry then next feed just water.... let the soil dry then feed, let the soil dry ten water.... you get where I'm going with this ;).
With any pots you use I always recommend getting a feel for the weight of the pot with the soil in it pre water and then post water this way it takes a lot of the guess work out and you just give the pot a lift and you'll know right away if she's thirsty... that is of course if it's not been a few days and she's clearly gagging for some water and is looking all sad and droopy.

FrostyB Week two for the GSC! Not too much to report back this week as this lady has been plodding along nicely just doing her thing. I started nutrients this week and just mixed up a small batch and gave this girl a light feed to ease her into the routine. Seeing steady growth and a nice colour ... so far so good 😊 👌

FrostyB This lady is going well just happily growing doing her thing. She's taken to the nutrients well and is growing some nice green and healthy leafs. She's almost tall enough to start LST as I plan to keep her short and wide fingers crossed!

FrostyB Happy with this lady so far, she's started flowering therefore I have started introducing flowering nutrients at half the recommended dose. I mix a large jug of 2 Litres of water and add 2ml of each nutrient and split it between my plants as they're all at the same stage hence the measurements given in the nutrients in this week. As it is only a small pot for this lady I done light LST and she's taken it well ... it did take a few days for her to bounce back but recently (few days after this pic was taken) she's perky and happy so I'm just going to let her do her thing.

FrostyB This lady has started to stretch nicely and is reacting to the feed well, I have gone half the recommended amounts and split a 2l mix between the ladies that are in flower. As planned I have kept her relatively short and trained in a way so there will be just a few main colas (fingers crossed).... again I am happy with how she is going so far and am excited to see how she's going to shape up in the next few weeks!

FrostyB This lady is happy just doing her thing and going as planned ... short and sweet (so far) I have kept the feed the same across my flowering plants hence the measurements seeming high but it is put into 2L of water. She's recovered nicely from the earlier burn where I went in too hot but as you can see the tips will be forever scarred .... or at least till I take that tiny bit off. Excited to see what the future holds for this Girl Scout cookies mm mmm
Really easy to grow, not as big as I would have liked but I put this down to the cold weather.

FrostyB Overall this lady was a pleasure to grow, finished on 71 days as planned. I would have like to add more weekly updates but after a tough few weeks due to health issues I wasn't not able to post as much as I would have liked. More to follow and I will certainly running Sensible seeds genetics again - really nice outcome all factors considered.
