Just put into wet paper towels folded into a sandwich bag. Placed in grow tent covered from light. Planted into 2.5 gallon pots in super soil mixed myself that has been cooking in my garage for about 8 months. Soil ph about 6.8
I’m sure some will say it’s way too early to lst but everyone grows differently. Do what works for you and the strain your growing. To me this isn’t too extreme and it helps develop those bottom branches to be at top level quicker. Paper clips will be removed once I get the shape I want or if the plant covers the entire pot before flowering or if it goes into flower.
She’s definitely ok with the paper clip lst. Coming along nicely. Still just feeding ph water with seaweed extract and molasses. She will get a top dress of dry amendments from Dr.Earth once preflowers show. She will get custom compost tea once a week to add more microbiology to soil and help with deficiency prevention.
Still getting only ph water with seaweed extract and molasses. A lot more paper clips added. Also hooked fan leaves with paper clips to redirect them away from bud sites. Almost time to remove paper clips.
She just started preflowers at the end of week so I did some super cropping and still just paper clipping branches and fan leaves that are in the way. Defoliation coming soon.
Gave her a top feed of Dr Earths flower girl and Dr Earths all purpose and gave her some compost tea made of worm castings and molasses with seaweed extract. Also super cropped her trying to even out canopy and defoliated and tied down some branches. Also have the light dimmed at 75%. Will blast at 100% depending on her reaction to 75%
She stopped stretching and is starting to fatten up. I’m actually running her side by side with one taking nothing but synthetic nutrients. This organic one is looking super good. Synthetic is running into deficiencies. Well I did I small defoliation and retied her. She is smelling nice and with how cold it is here I’m hoping she turns colors on me. Still got about 4-5 weeks to finish but she looks like she’s gonna finish strong.
She is coming along fine. Just pulling tie downs a bit more to open her up. Pretty much cruise control here. Just giving mammoth p and slf-100 and photo plus and molasses every three or four days She’s loving it and drinking quick. Still not much of a strong smell. She will be getting a top dress again of dr earths flower girl and alfalfa meal and some worm castings very soon, that should be the last food I give her till I flush and harvest. No deficiencies so far and she is starting to change leaf colors and fatten up buds nicely.
Did a final top dress of dr earths flower girl. Now she’ll only get teas and water till the chop. She’s fattening up nicely and changing colors quick. I also turned off my heating mat in the tent to get colors to change faster. The white stuff on the bottom leaves are diatomaceous earth, I got carried away dusting the soil lol
She is pretty much just getting seaweed extract, molasses ,mammoth p, slf-100 and photosynthesis plus ph’d to about 6.3-6.5. Just feeding the microbes and picking off dead leaves till “the chop” she is starting to stink up my tent with pungent rotting fruit smell that I absolutely love. Took her out of the tent to defoliate and ended up stinking up my whole garage. So far she is a really easy strain to grow. Seems to really like slow release dry amendments. I’m also running another one that got synthetic nutrients but that one doesn’t smell as good as this one and it ran into some deficiencies. Also can’t really compare the two because they are two different phenos of the same strain. The non organic smells piney and fruity and looks more indica leaning.

Starting to just give her water with molasses and mammoth p PH’d to 6.5
Pretty much of when top 2 inches are dry. She’s really starting to smell strong and filling with trichs everywhere. I would describe the smell as rotting fruit with slight gas and pine. I’d say two or three more weeks till she is harvested.
