Organoman More pictures for fun. Again, all these were planted after the Summer Solstice to keep them small. Most were finished between 10 and 14 weeks from seed to harvest.
I finally worked out how to add "non commercial" ingredients to my list of nutrients, by using the "custom" feature. This list is what all plants are getting in all my diaries, however I as stated, I have only just worked out how to add these things and save them too. On the above list, anything from Alfalfa meal downwards is a solid substance that is part of / ingredient of my "top dressing mix" which goes on top of the soil as a mulch around my plants. Therefore the figure of 1ml/litre is wrong, but I had to put something in that column in order for it to be saved. I thought I would include the recipe for the topping mix out of interest to other growers who prefer natural soil amendments, rather than relying solely on something that comes from a bottle. With the use of the topping mix, I find fertilizer use to be only really necessary once or twice throughout each phase of flowering or vegging stage. Obviously, my plants do not get the bloom nutes/boosters when they are in the vegging stage. I will however continue using a mild dose of Bio-Vega during flowering, just to keep the girls happy, but as I said, it is only 1 or 2 applications during the whole flowering cycle, depending on the plant. I may in future post my recipe for my growing soil, but that has even more ingredients than my topping mix, so that may require a separate diary to put it all down.
Until then, happy growing, and remember, it is a fun hobby, not a race or competition with winners and losers. It is all about creating something with your own hands and learning new skills. I have been doing this for 35+ years and I still learn something every time I grow! Keep it real..... you are what you inhale!
