Auto, so grew directly in the medium and designated pot. Aired the water for 10 minutes before watering the full pot to avoid dry areas. I also under mixed the lower section of the pot to the lower has more worm castings for later in life. running 18 / 6 at 50% humidity and temps 27c on and 21c off. Water PH started high for germination. In future will be 6.5 or lower. Light is full power at 80cm
PH looks a little low for this early on. Gave a big water between 6.2 and 6.5, but after giving a nice serving of 6.5/6.6(ish) it looked a lot better. Thinking about bringing the light down more pretty soon. 120w LED is not that much and the heat is low. Also added 2x silent PC fans to the tent to give it a constant breeze, and opened the ports on the tent with an empty pop bottle to help with air intake. Due to noise, I added the carbon filter to the fan just to keep the db down, although it's wasteful, they are cheap enough to replace, and volume is critical for me. Also started seeing random cover crop shooting up (I didn't plant any, but read a long time ago that this was a sign of very happy soil).
Late posting, apologies (christmas got in the way)
Very light on the water this week. New fans are looking great and working really well at keeping the plant moving at all times. They are very quiet too. I noticed there was a difference in some of the colours on the leaves too, probably from the LEDs. The plant is starting to show some of its Kush traits and is having a growth spurt, so will let go another week before making a decision on topping. I think I will not top, and just LST given its an auto, and just pin the head down and wide ready to bring the net lower later. So far, looking healthy and good. More random cover crop coming through, I will be leaving them in place, as they help the soil retain moisture.
Did some tucking this week to make space to the new growth areas. Will be pinning the head down with some LST so it can grow into the scrog. Watered 5 litres at 6.5ph again. Looks like starting to show sex. More cover crops coming through. Will probably remove the larger one if it starts to interfere with light space for the SODK. I don't think I have enough space to pin low, so will let get slightly higher, but something needs to be done in the next week.
Looks like after 5litres of 6.3 ph water, she is responding well to the LST first round ,then more LST today, and as was dry, another 5 litres were given. Again, just water, letting the plant take from the soil what it needs as it's preloaded. Moved the fan down to one of the filtered intakes, and there is a solid breeze now going through the canopy. I have also trimmed down some of the cover crop.
