What's goin on guys! Welcome to Bytown Grower! This is my FIRST time EVER growing marijuana. Any criticism/tips are welcome, as I could use the help along this adventurous journey. Being my first time, I wanted to try a totally organic grow from start to finish using Autoflowers. I chose autoflowers (Ruderalis) because it is apparently a good starter for beginners who are interested in learning more about growing. I have 3 Critical Kush Autoflowering Feminized Seeds from Growers Lab. Plant Sex: Autoflowering Feminized Cannabis Species: Indica Flowering Time: 60-70 days Skill Level: Easy THC: 21% CBD Level: 3-10% Size: Medium Yield indoors (per meter squared): Up to 500g Here is my current grow set up with tools: 20"x20"x36" Stealth Box Powder Coated Steel Box (with Highly Reflective White finish to maximize light) Full Spectrum/Bright White LED Quantum Board-100W / 3000k (custom designed Quantum Board using Samsung Top Bin LM301b LED’s) Carbon Filter (certified Australian carbon) 2 Gallon Cloth Pots Quiet Fans Hygro-thermometer Locking Cabinet Lighting Timers Seedling Dome Titanium Coated Stainless Steel Scissors Long Neck Watering Can Spray Bottle Honeywell QuietSet Oscillating Fan Westinghouse Humidifier H2O - Labrador Natural Spring Water Gaia Green Fertilizers Gaia Green Organic Living Soil Pro-Mix Organic Herb & Vegetable Soil Miracle-Gro Moisture Control Potting Mix Moisture Warmth & Darkness Procedure: 1) Left in an open jar of Labrador Natural Spring Water for 18 hours (Germinating Time in open Jar: 8:45pm Nov 10th - 2:45pm Nov 11th, Temp: 22°C, RH: 60-70%) 2) Placed paper towel on ceramic plate 3) Poured seeds onto paper towel and folded the paper towel over creating a "burrito" 4) Poured off excess water from ceramic plate and drained for 60 seconds or until water stopped dripping 5) Placed ceramic plate in a DARK open room to allow moisture, warmth, and oxygen 6) Checked/sprayed every 6 hours to ensure paper towel didn't dry out (Spray to moisten only, DO NOT DROWN) November 13th: All seeds cracked and had 3/4" taproots developed Seedling Planting Procedure: 1) Filled grow tray with Gaia Green Living Soil (1-0-0) 2) Lightly moistened Living Soil prior to planting 3) Planted seedlings a finger-tip in length into soil with taproot down 4) Placed humidity dome on top 3) 24 - 48 hours later, the seedlings started to break through the soil

Welcome my Critical Kush Auto organic grow! This week was mostly staying on top of misting the girls and ensuring the proper humidity levels. Since this grow is inside a compact space (20" x 20" x 36"), a humidifier had to be purchased to maintain a consist RH level within the room throughout the day. This worked well as the box sucks in air from the room through a small louver on the lower side of my Stealth grow. Upon a little research, I was able to find the optimal settings on the humidifier for my new seedlings. These seedlings thrive with an RH between 65% and 80%. I decided to go with a steady RH of 65%, this is because when these girls reach their vegetative state, I plan on dropping it by only 10% to reduce the chance of shock. Procedure: 1) Lightly misting soil with natural spring water on the daily 2) Propping up seedlings as needed to make sure they don't droop 3) Humidity dome remained on top until seedlings began to touch 3) Temp: 21°C (Night) 25°C (Day) 4) RH: 65% Notes: Looks like I may have accidentally waterlogged one of the seedlings, which is stunting growth. Not to worry though, I delayed misting it until the top layer of soil became dry. To my surprise, the runt finally broke through the soil a couple days later to say Hello!

Welcome my Critical Kush Auto organic grow! This week was fun... I transplanted these auto's into their new 2 gallon organic pots! I know, I know, what the hell was I thinking not planting them in there to begin with? Well... I wasn't, and like I said, this is my FIRST time EVER growing marijuana. Fortunately for me, the transplant went very well and didn't seem to affect these Autos very much. I also thought that now would be a good time to start some LST on these ladies. Kind of frightening to think that you could crack, snap, or even break the stems when doing this. However, I found out just how malleable these plants really are. I was amazed of their double jointed acrobatics in these pots. Procedure: 1) Continuing to mist soil daily 2) 2/3 plants are ready to be transplanted as the leaves have covered the diameter of the current pot which tells me the root system is well developed 2) Getting 2 gallon organic pots ready for transplant Potting Soil Ingredients: Amount - 80% Type - Gaia Green Living Soil NPK: (1-0-0) Total Nitrogen (N)…………………………….……1.0% Magnesium (Mg) (Actual) …….....………………..0.5% Iron (Fe) (Actual)……………………………………0.3% Contains: Peat moss Perlite Coconut coir Fine bark Composted porcine litter African night crawler worm castings Glacial rock dust Dolomite lime Feather meal Alfalfa meal Bone meal Rock phosphate Blood meal Fishbone meal Mineralized phosphate Insect frass Mined potassium sulphate Basalt rock dust Humic acid Gypsum Kelp meal Oyster shell flour Greensand Amount - 10% Type - Pro-Mix Organic Vegetable and Herb Mix (Mycorrhizae) Contains: Canadian sphagnum peat moss (60-75%) Peat humus Compost Perlite Gypsum Limestone (for pH adjustment) Organic fertilizer Mycorrhizae - PTB297 Technology Amount - 10% Type - Miracle-Gro Moisture Control NPK: 0.21-0.11-0.16 Contains: Absorbs 33% more water than ordinary potting soil. Feeds plants up to 6 months with Miracle-Gro®️ Continuous Release plant food. Procedure: 1) Plants transplanted into new 2 gallon homes 2) Little to no stress or stunting after transplanting (Surprising for an autoflower) 3) Began Low Stress Training as soon as second nodes appeared 4) No nutes added, still working off of the 10% of slow nute release soil (Miracle-Gro Moisture Control 0.18-0.10-0.10) and the Pro-Mix's Mycorrhizae ingredient (for roots stimulation)

Welcome my Critical Kush Auto organic grow! This weeks focus was staying on top of LST, leaf tucking, trimming, and first feeding. My plan with these girls is to try and spread them out throughout their pots to create a bushy growing environment. Since my space is only 20" x 20" x 36", I need to train them to spread out rather than up. I'm quite satisfied with the results I've produced thus far, and am curious to see just how bushy these girls will get. In terms of food, these ladies have a variety of Gaia Green fertilizers to choose from. I've chosen to feed them Gaia Green's Alfalfa Meal, and Rock Phosphate. Procedure: 1) Low Stress Training 2) Leaf Tucking 4) Began trimming 2/3 plants with fan leaves blocking light 5) Gave first organic feeding after trimming 6) Continued to water pots when the top base dries Organic Nutrients: Gaia Green Alfalfa Meal 3-0-2 (2 TBSP per Gallon) Gaia Green Rock Phosphate 0-3-0 (1 TBSP per Gallon)

Welcome my Critical Kush Auto organic grow! This week, I focused on LST, leaf tucking, and trimming. I can't believe how easily these plants recover from being bent and mutilated. These girls are hearty and strong, no doubt about it. Procedure: 1) Continued LST and leaf tucking with some light trimming this week 2) Small defoliation 3) Starting to notice pistils on the medium sized plant

Welcome my Critical Kush Auto organic grow! Last week we had our second trimming and some light defoliation. Pistils are becoming more apparent on the plants which gets me pretty excited. This is great because it means buds are beginning to form, and will continue to do so over the next few weeks. I'll be keeping a close eye out for nutrient deficiency, nutrient burns, and any signs of early bud rot. Another trimming and micro feeding is on the agenda. Before we go ahead and do that, we will be conducting a PH and nutrient test of the soil. I'm hoping I'll be able to expose light to where these girls need it most by removing some of the fan leaves.

My (Critical Kush) auto's are starting to flower. Do I continue to use my other Gaia Green ferts until the buds actually develop? Or do I need to start feeding it Gaia's power bloom now?

Like NorCal said, and im just adding a lil something that you probably already know, but it don't hurt to repeat. 😇 Gradually decrease the veg nutes as you gradually increase the bloom nutes. Going ⅛ ⅙ ¼ ⅓ ½ ⅔ (dose) on the bloom overtime. While doing the oposite with the veg nutes ⅔ ½ ¼ ⅙ ⅛ 0% (dose). You could start gradually reducing the veg by now while waiting for the first big mass of pistils to pop up so you can then start introducing the bloom nutes. Stay lit growmie and good luck.

Welcome to my Critical Kush Auto organic grow! We're still looking nice and healthy in our 20" x 20" x 36" grow space. Was planning on giving another small feed to the girls. However, after conducting a nutrient and pH test of the water/soil, I've noticed the nutrients are currently sitting between medium - high. Next week, we will conduct another sample so we can determine if we can give them a micro feed of Gaia Green's Power Bloom (2-8-4) for the flowering stage. I've set up a ScrOG canopy for future development of the plants. I know they won't all reach the net - high hopes 😅 Don't hesitate to leave a comment regarding any thoughts/suggestions you may have for me 🤔

Based on my NPK nutrient test, the results seem to range from medium to high. Will I damage or ruin the plants if I feed it power bloom once there are more apparent pistils?

A living soil takes care of itself, all you need to do is top dress with some more gaia green every 4 weeks. In flower you should be using gaia 2-8-4 bloom @ 1 tablespoon per gallon of media. Happy growing.

Welcome to my Critical Kush Auto organic grow! We're still looking nice and healthy in our 20" x 20" x 36" grow space. It's been a busy few weeks over the Christmas Holidays! In terms of growing, I've just been staying on top of watering, defoliating, and low stress training. In week 6, I had set up a ScrOG as the plants were beginning to reach that particular height. To my surprise, they have started to grow in and out of it the past couple days. I've noticed the runt of the three seems to be slowly catching up with its sisters. There seems to be a significant change in the hue of the plants, mainly the bigger two's leaf colour. When looking at all three, the smallest one seems to be a much lighter green in comparison to the "evergreens". There is slight nute burn on the tips of some of the fan leaves on the medium plant. I'm not terribly concerned as they seem to be really healthy otherwise. Procedure: 1) Watering when top two inches of medium becomes dry 2) Maintaining strength and encouraging growth through LST 3) Steady temperatures being held (20 - 25°C during day, 19 - 23°C at night) 3) Will begin to slowly drop RH levels to 40%
