This is growing about 2 weeks behind my Auto Cheese. I am really pumped for this strain. I live in a "not cool" state, and I have not had access to much top-shelf cannabis in my life. The best I ever had was about 10 years ago, and it was supposedly a strain of Northern Lights. I went with a coworker into a *really* sketchy neighborhood for it, and the guy who sold it to me was wearing an ankle monitor. I was scared shitless, but it turned out ok. It was covered in frost like I have never seen before or after, and instead of coming in a baggie, it was in glass jars, which was a big deal to me and my smoking buddy. This grow is in a way reliving or fulfilling a dream of mine.
3/23/18 was day #1.
Thanks for checking out my grow!
The LST on my first plant is going well, so I figured I'd go for the whole deal on this girl and top her on day 16. I will cut off the last fan leaves in a day or two, once the side shoots show a little more development. I cut way back on the water over the past week, and it seems to have been the right move.
As of day 25 things are going well. As I point out in the video, I had a mishap while tieing down the left stem of the mainline. It snapped most of the way through. I left it alone for a few days and then carefully trained her back down. She seems fine, maybe a little bit stunted but not bad. The wounded area is thickening up nicely. She has a very faint smell, but is is the piney aroma of northern lights.
Update: Mid-week I discovered that I was underwatering, causing slow growth, and possibly nutrient deficiencies. This may be the cause of the brown tips and edges on the largest leaves. Hopefully I have it fixed from here on out. At least I know to be aware of it. I'm new to fabric pots and they dry out way faster than plastic or even ceramic.
Things are looking pretty good. She recovered really fast from the last defoliation, and is growing great since getting the watering back on track. I will be doing some more significant defoliation this week. I am still watching to see if I have more issues with browning on the leaf tips and edges. Let me know if you know what causes this.
Also, since flowers have started forming, I will be adding some VMC around the top, and giving a good dose of sprouted corn tea. I am also starting Mammoth P.
Thanks for checking out my grow!

She is looking pretty good, seems very healthy and a fast grower. She is already showing some sugar. The cheese I have going in the pot next to her is 12 days ahead and still isn't showing sugar yet. I think I'm done with her training, just gonna let her put on buds. I am hoping she doesn't stretch too much, but it's my first grow so I don't really know what to expect.
She is coming along really nicely. She smells like sweet lemon candy, so good. I think she still has a little stretch left in her. I'm continuing defoliation to keep airflow and light penetration to bud sites. I also turned on my second circulating fan to get a little more breeze in the tent.
I swapped out my smaller light from a cfl to a new led, so my pictures are all a bit purple. She is doing great, getting fatter and fuller every day. She smells like lemon cleaner. Not in a bad chemical way, but in a super-strong lemony way. She is frosty and sticky, and I can't wait to chop her down. Probably 3+ weeks still to go, though.
Some of the trichomes look amber in the pictures, but it is just the lens shifting the light.
Things are still coming along nicely. She is really fat, all the calyxes look plump. The tops of the buds are starting to show a little purpling. Some of the lower buds still have too many white pistils, and there are barely any amber trichomes, so I am still going to give it at least another week or two. I am shooting for about 10% amber.
A lot of the top leaves have started to yellow from the inside out. Not sure if this is due to deficiency, bleaching, or just turning autumn colors naturally. Aroma isn't too strong, but is a wonderful and intense citrus.
She is looking pretty good. Definitely some issue going on, possibly my water is too acidic and stoping iron absorption. I will try to straighten it out for my next round. Otherwise all is well. The tops have turned a nice purple, and a couple of trichomes have turned amber. I hope to harvest over the next week or so.
