Another week down and the girls are looking good. This is the 2nd week of 12/12 so the girls are showing some nice bud formation now. Not really sure how long this usually takes bud it seemed like the 1st week was kind of a transition week and flower really started this week.
Again, I didnt do much to the gals. I did chop off most of the lower sites that I feel would grow into larf. At this point I'm getting the girls ti spread into the scrog net nicely. Maybe 1 more week and It'll be filled out enough to let the girls grow 100% vertical. At that point I'll prolly lollipop and defoliate as much as I can. I dont think the girls are going to grow super tall so idk how much lollipopping I'll be able to do. Either way, the canopy is full of leaves now (especially on the waffle cone), so I'll be pulling off lots of leaves next week.
This week is did get my hands on a few more knf inputs to feed my plants with. At this point I have pretty much everything I need except imo, which is tough to make where I live. At this point I'm feeding the girls based on the feed charts from master cho's principles. I'm using ohn, acv, seawater, wca, wcap, wsk, ffj, kelp meal, fish bone meal, bolaski and compost teas. Tea's are used in place of water every 10 days or so and the rest of the liquid inputs are used every time I water (about every 3 days). Ther dry stuff is top dressed 1x per month. So far the plants seem to be loving everything.
I also switched out my fan and humidifier this week. Instead of the box fan I'll be using a 12" hurricane oscillating wall fan. And, instead of the 1/2 gallon humidifier, I'll be using a 1 gallon from now on. Depending on the height the girls end up at, I might throw the box fan back into the mix to move air around the lower canopy. At this point the plants are too short so I may not need it this run. Next grows will be more mainlined instead of the horizontal grow style I did this time. Will a new veg tent I'll be able to keep a perpetual harvest going so no reason to veg for 10 weeks from now on lol. Was fun this time around tho
@GuerrillaNo_4, yeah I was given some oversized clones so I pretty much started training s couple days after I got them home and transplanted them. I figured if I was gonna mess up and break/kill branches I better learn early on so they have time to recover lol. I wasnt sure how well they would respond but it's nice to hear that it should help in the long run.
