Hi, growing method Paper Towel, but I always put the seeds Glass Of lukewarm Water the first 12 hours. When seeds goes to the bottom of the glass, it is means seeds got enough water.Start day 2020.12.16. 10.00 a.m.
Today morning 2020.12.18 10.00 a.m all seeds has roots between 1-2 cm. I put in the soil. Size 2 dl.
Nowadays I use RQS seeds because germinations rate 90.-100% and it is happen within short time. In general within 3 days seeds goes to the soil.
Room temperature 20,4 Celsius, humidity 50%.
Vegetations light will be 110W FL 9600 lm but the first week not necesarry this power. I will use normal LED light .
Day 4 ( 2020. 12.20) germination 100% all 3 came out from the soil.
Hi,As I did formerly,I keep things simple as possible.What does it means?
1. I make my soil mix myself. Ingredients regular potting soil, perlit ( from factory, it is filter perlit ),coffee grounds,eggshell powder,cat litter ( bentonit size 2-3 mm ), coco coir.
2.No special pots, regulated environment ( same as room temperature and humidity.)
3.No tent,no growing room.
4.No EC meter and PH meter.At least I haven't needed it so far.
5. I use regular nutrient solution what can be found every store.If I need more some of nutrienrs, Ca/MGg Glauber salt, N and P coming from CIP chemicals. Nitric acid HNO3, phosphoric acid H3PO4.
Now finished second veg.week. Few days ago I realised that cotelydon start yellowing.I started feeding them.But situation does not changed.They got double amount of water with fertilaser every second day.Yellowing not worse but not better. However due to double amount of water signs of over-irrigation appeared.
/Relatively small pot size./ That's why I transplanted them to 0,5 liter size.
Circumstances have not changed. ( humidity fall 34% )
Anyway they growing well. 4th letter couple is growing.
End of week 3, As I wrote formerly I started feeding them due to yellowing 1ml/L NPK, than I did not see any changing thereafter I watering 3ml/L. Situation unchanged.Lower leaf still yelowing and appaered brown spots.
Now 6th pair of leaves grow. Plants are stocky, low .Side branches are appeared.
Conditions are the same. Light 24/0 , 3pc 9 W LED lamp ( in total 27 W ) RH% 32-35, Temp 21 C, watering every 3 days, 1,5 dl water.
Today morning first week was finished. What happened the first week. Brief summary.
1.Germination took 5 days.In the morning days 5, seedlings emerged from the soil. All seeds the same time.
2, The end of 1 Veg.week height 4-5 cm, second letter couple lenght cca 1cm.
Conditions 0,2 liter pot with soilmix ( potting soil based spanghum,cocofiber,perlit,coffee ground,egshell powder.) Watering manually.
Room temeperature constant 21,0-21,3 Celsius, humidity 36-38%. . Lighting 24/0 Graxidea E27 78 SMD 5730 full spectrum grow light.
Wattage 9 watt.
