Hobo setup but it has worked well before. Planing to flower them as soon as posible as a little test. These being regular bag seeds i expect that only 4 will get to harvest, Anything less would be dissapointing.
Unfortunate, seeds were mostly unsuccesful. 3 were out in the first 4 days. Checked the others and found no progress so droped some more in the already preped cup, i planted the best looking ones first so these might not do anything. I hope for one or two more but 3 is fine aswell.
Looks like i have three healthy plants and one slow one, Bit it should catch up. One is a little taller so i am thinking of topping it to give the others some time to catch up. And later use LST to controll the height.
Still a little disapinted by the seeds. I even had one where the stem came out but had no leaves. But it is what it is. Now i just have to hope for them to be the right sex.
Plants have been moved to bigger pots that will end up being their last, Decided agaist topping the tallest plant. It will be fine as is.
I am keeping the little damaged one alive just for fun. I wanna see what it does. As a note these guys are giving off some smell already, earlier than any other grow i have done. Not sure if its a sign of good or bad growth, or just the strain. Maby someone knows.
Raised lights as the plants were getting close. The tall GIRL has shown sex, so that is something to be happy about. Ill give the others another week and then start 12/12 even if they have not shown sex. I corrected the nutrients for the smaller plants as they were geting burned tips.
Im intregued by the little chalanged plant, i have started to reffer to it as a bonsai.
Everything is going well. This week another plant showed sex, so i am glad to say aleast 2 of 3 are girls.
I will trim off the bottom nodes as they will just take energy. After trimming im just gonna switch to 12/12.
In a perfect world the third one will be a girl aswell.
I have anways had problems in the second part of flowering, things like when to flush and when to harvest.
It always works out fine, but i think the buds just dont do as good as they could due to the crappy home made light. Its weak, and im quite sure its the reason i get such a low amount per plant. I will see if i can come up with an upgrade.
This week has been interesting.
As i prommised last week i have upgraded the lights to just about 200w.tue to it being homemade i used what i had, the lights ended up being a colder tone. But more light is better i supose.
Towards the end of the week there was a noticeable stretch, so there is finaly signs of flowering starting.
Plants are looking really good.
Started adding more potasium and phosphorus in preperation, before cuting off the nitrogen towards the end of the stretch.
Any feedback is welcome, best way to improve is to learn from mistakes, but i feel like i am mising some of my mistakes.
Added more info about fertiliser, its a synthetic off the shelf basic stuff. plants are strong and healthy and i am trying not to push too much nutrients as that killed my last plant.
I did cut a few large leaves i realised were hogging the light. Plants seem to have reacted well. The lower branches streched a lot since then.
I really like the little bonsay cannabis plant, it has shot out a few new leaves since it has been on 12/12 and is still standing on that tiny stem while growimg a larger stem up top.
A sad week as the two smaller plants hermied. Removed them from the tent and we are down to one, atleast it is the bigger more developed one.
Flowering is going as it should however the plant seems slightly droopy with slightly lighter green leave centers, might just look like it bit i will keep an eye on it.
The little bonsai plant has started flowering aswell little tiny bud incoming. I am suprised, is there a way to breed this little guy ? Could make a nice desk plant.
A tough week.
After fighting off deficiencies at the start of the week light burn became a problem, now after dealing with the deficiencies the plant is left overwatered (my bad) and i am hoping it pulls trough.
There is hope as its the older leaves that look damaged, the small ones look like they will be fine.
Feeding plain water for now, will slowly add nutrients back in .
Along with the damage the progres has slowed, trichomes can be seen forming but due to the stress it is slow.
Looking at the flowers i think it will be a pretty small harvest.
The little bonsai cannabis plant is flowering well, looks like a third of the whole plant is going to be a bud.
@GuerrillaNo_4, got them from a friend who had great luck buying some weed full of seeds.
Since he had no use for them he gave them to me.
they were getting old and that might be part of why so many failed to germinate.
