Day 0: Really excited for this grow! It is winter here where I am growing and I am hoping that the cooler temps will increase the purpling on this plant.

Day 1: Took just under a week to pop through the soil. I am 4/4 for germination over all 4 grows of my career. Mephisto never fails to deliver! Day 3: Things are moving right along! I added a humidifier to my tent to try and bring the rH levels up. Day 5: All good! Temps are steady around 70 degrees F and humidity is around 55%.

Day 9: Sorry for the gap in days, I was away this past weekend. She's continuing to grow and I think is about to take off. Ignore the rh in the pics I've been taking where its low, usually when I take these pictures I have just refilled the humidifier and it hasn't humidified the tent yet. Day 11: Starting to see the genetics kick in in terms of growth rate. I feel like her roots are getting established now and it's off to the races! I've been watering with tap water ph'd to 6.5 whenever the soil is dry. It's been taking 3-4 days for the soil to dry up and I have to water again. I plan on using dry amendment flower nutes this run seeing as I'm using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil which is packed with the nutes she will need to get through her short veg cycle. Day 13: Moving right along! I've lowered the humidity in the tent to around 50-55%.

Day 15: She's growing so quickly now! The veg stage is off to a great start. Probably going to start LST this week. Day 17: It's LST time! Got my first tie down over and done. The way I LST is to tie down the main stem and then as the plant grows I will adjust and readjust LST lines to shape my canopy. Day 19: We're keeping it moving here in the tent. Noticed some pistils today!

Day 21: Week 3 is here! She's looking like a bad hair day but that's because she's growing so fast and I have her tied down. Trying to keep humidity levels between 50-60%. Yesterday I watered and top dressed with Down to Earth Rose and Flower Mix (4-8-4) using 1 tbsp per gallon. This top dress is going to be my test as to how hot I can push the nutes at this time seeing as Fox Farms Ocean Forest is already pretty hot. I usually don't start nutes till at least week 4 with FFOF but I figured since this is a top dress there would be more of a slow release effect. If she responds well and there are no other problems, I plan to top dress once more during this grow around week 7. I may push that top dress to 2 tbsp per gallon to finish out her flower stage but we will have to see how she responds with this first dose. Everything is going smoothly so far! Day 23: All good in the tent! I've been diligently readjusting my LST ties everyday and I can see the tops forming already. I ended up taking off a fan leaf or two to allow for more even light coverage. She's starting to smell like dank just a little bit. It's the weird stage where it smells like basil or weed depending on who you talk to. Soil is still a bit damp/compacted from my last watering so I'm going to wait until I water again. I gave her a full 2 liter's of ph'd tap water when I top dressed so it's going to take a little bit to dry out. I will most likely continue to give her 2 liters at a time because from my experience these plants will be thirsty during their mid veg/early flower stage. Day 25: All good, nothing to report on. I've added more LST ties as I saw fit. Day 27: Just watered again (2L of tap water ph'd to 6.5) and did some more LST work. I also went ahead and gave her a pretty good haircut, removing most of the giant fan leaves that were blocking light coverage and just being nuisances in general. Tomorrow I hope to see her spring back upwards and reveal the canopy shape that I've been crafting. Day 28: You can really see the bounce back from when I defoliated her yesterday. This girl is growing quick!

Day 29: The bud sites are really loving the defoliation I did. They have sprung back and are growing evenly now. I'm seeing more pistils every day! Day 30: The tops are really taking off and developing now! I am seeing more and more growth each day. Day 31: I just defoliated a bit more, readjusted my LST ties and gave her 2L of tap water ph'd to 6.5. After defoliating a second time today, I can see the improvements in tops that my first round of defoliation allowed. I am hoping to keep up the pace of growth! She is going flawlessly so far. Day 32: Looking healthy and green! It's very cool to see a plant come "alive" after you water. Day 34: This is by far my healthiest plant I've grown to date. Hope I didn't just jinx it!

Day 37: Canopy is getting pretty well established now! I will most likely feed one last time next week with the Down to Earth dry amendment nutes. I'm really trying to keep my VPD in check this grow and it seems to be working judging from the health of this plant. I've opened a flap in my tent to bring the temps down a few degrees (it fluctuates now from 64-68 degrees F) in order to try and get some purple colors to show up. Day 38: Just gave her 2L of water as her pot felt pretty light. I'm doing my best to try and spread all the tops out and give the lower nodes some more access to light but its very hard! I've been reading up on CDLC and it seems that she grows short and bushy (which is exactly how mine is growing) and others have said to just leave her alone rather than trying to fight the fan leaves. Point taken! Day 40: All is well in the tent. Still wrestling with tops and LST lines even thought I've been taking a few fan leaves off almost everyday! Day 41: Nothing to report on today. I am thinking I will probably top dress with a stronger dose the next time she needs to be watered. That will conclude my nutrient feedings for this grow.

Day 43: I top dressed yesterday with 2 tsp/gal (10 tsp) of Down to Earth Rose & Flower which will be her last feeding of the grow. I then watered it in with 4L of tap water ph'd to 6.5. The day after (today) she sprung up as usual and I defoliated a little bit more to open up some of the tops that were being hidden. I'm pretty sure over the last week she's managed to double the number of tops which is phenomenal. Really excited to dive into the mid/late flower stage with this one. Day 44: Smooth sailing today! Day 46: I've since watered again since my last update, and will probably have to in another day. She drinks a lot now and quickly and I manage that by watering more often in smaller quantities rather than the opposite. Airpots allow for pretty obvious characteristics of "dry" soil, in other words its very easy to tell when the pot is dry. The most apparent sign to me is the weight of a dry pot vs a pot after I water 2L. I have noticed that she's pretty much done with her stretch (not that she stretched much tbh) and is now focusing on bud development. Lots of trichs already forming in and around bud sites on what will be sugar leaves in the end. I'm noticing some very slight colorations in the pistils, sometimes at the base and sometimes at the tip, a few purple and some orange forming already. I'm really hoping for some fall colors on this plant once she fades! Day 48: All is going well! I'm really hoping I don't screw anything up before harvest as I want to keep this momentum going. I watered yesterday with 4L of ph'd tap water. I am going away tomorrow and won't be back until Sunday so I decided to give her a bigger watering dosage so she doesn't sit there dry while I'm not home.

Day 49: Nothing much to report on, I'm leaving for a few days and wanted to post a pic before I left. Will check back in on Sunday. Day 51: I am back from my trip and have watered with 4L of ph'd tap water. More and more trichomes are being scattered around the various fan/sugar leaves near the bud sites and I am noticing more orange and purple colors! Super excited to finally see some of the genetics shine through on this plant. Day 53: I am seeing some fan leaves getting some purple on them, and more colors around the pistils on the bud sites themselves. Looking great and healthy! Day 54: So after much deliberation I went ahead and did one final defoliation. My goal was to expose as many bud sites as possible and to then go and readjust my LST lines to spread out the buds as much as I could. This plant grows like cabbage with the way she's all bunched up and bushy. I also watered with 4L of ph'd tap water since she was dry. She smells like weed but I don't think the flavor profile is quite there yet as the smell is nothing crazy unique and more of just a weed plant stench. I did notice literally 1 or two fan leaf tips turning brown which I'll be monitoring as the days go by.

Day 56: Everything's going great still. More and more colors are popping through every day and more pistils are turning orange. Hoping for some fat buds in the next few weeks. Day 58: I watered 4L of ph'd tap water yesterday. I'm seeing more burnt tips of fan leaves but I can't tell if it's her starting her fade or if I've overfed. I will continue to monitor this. Day 60: Watered 4L today. Buds are starting to pack some weight. Day 62: Most of the colas are now purple sparkled, there are still a lot of smaller buds that I would like to see fatten up before the chop. Really impressed with the colors and smells she's putting off.

Day 63: Moving right along. Her buds smell like sour candy, it's really inviting. I'm sure the terps will keep evolving as well. Nearing the end here, very excited for this harvest! Day 66: I'm very happy with the bud growth so far, nothing more to say! Grow on. Day 67: Watered another 4L of ph'd tap water. Checked trichomes and I don't see that much amber. Lots clear trichs still and some cloudy on the more developed bud sites. Day 69: Took some pics and a video under natural light today to show off her colors and man does she look phenomenal. The buds look like fruity pebbles and smell sweet and dank. Some more fan leaves are developing some orange colors which leads me to believe that her fade is starting soon. Cannot wait for this harvest!

Day 72: I noticed what looks like a young pollen sac forming in the middle of one of the bud sites and proceeded to remove it today. I was worried when I saw what looked like a calyx with no trichomes or pistils on it. After consulting reddit, I removed it and stopped worrying. That was the only bud site that I noticed that had one. I also watered 4L yesterday and we are getting closer and closer to harvest. I am aiming to harvest this upcoming Friday which would be Day 77 but we will see what the trichomes tell us. Day 74: The fade is really setting in now, some of her fan leaves have completely turned purple. Others are taking on an orange/brown color to them. Most bud sites don't have any amber yet. Still going strong. Day 75: Just took her out of the tent and into the natural sunlight for some photo ops. I didn't realize until I did this that her buds are so giant. I can't wait to see the size of some of the top colas when I trim her up!

Day 78: The lights will go off this afternoon as I plan to harvest in 48 hours. I see at least a few amber trichomes on pretty much every budsite and I am comfortable harvesting around this time. As you can see from the picture from today, her fade has now covered the entire canopy and there are some really deep purples in the fan leaves mixed with yellow. Really excited to be able to trim this up! First I have to not screw up the dry. I plan to dry in my tent with a humidifier running to around 55% rh for at least a week and slowly taper down the humidity.
