AZ4, 5 have really stacked this week. Very tight nodal spacing and nice fat fan leaves.
Half of AZ 6 is the same and the other half still hasn’t fully recovered from the stress of transplanting late. The new growth is looking vigorous but it really took a hit transplanting so late. I got tripped up on timing the last run and hoped for the best but it’s pretty evident that I needed to get them into larger containers earlier or perhaps even just left them in the large container together. I get the feeling things would’ve gotten a little crowded had I left them.
AZ3 also never fully recovered from almost drying out so I transplanted into the garden and I topped it in a number of locations. I’m going to keep vegging for a bit longer so I figured I’ll mess around with this little funky guy and see if something good comes of it.
I did use wettable sulfer twice last week hence the white residue. I’m not seeing any evidence of mites. I’ll keep a rotation going until they flip. This week is bronner’s.
I started a new program of using humic90 along side Soy Bean Amino. This is the 2nd week and things seem to be going well. I’m using 1/8tsp/gal of humic and 3/4 tbsp/gal of SAA. I’ll continue this throughout flower. On day 1 of the flip I’ll start using my bloom fermentation. Stay tuned.
That’s the report for this week. Thanks for cruising and happy growing ✌️🏼🌱
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy, thank you again! Best quality nugz I’ve gotten from this plant yet. Moving on to other strains but I’ll have some VOG headies for months to come!
@XoticGROW666, I wish I knew. I had to cull one, put one outside to collect pollen, I killed 4 and I have 4 in veg right now. I flowered my last venom og and my most mature AZ together but it turned out to be male so I culled it. I should have some Umami terps soon but just not yet. I’m throwing at least one into flower in about a month. Thanks for checking in bruh and stay tuned for umami terps down the line ✌️🏼🌱
@ThrashedTV_BakedByGlaze,
The sweet basil is in its own pot and we’re growing it as a companion plant. I’ve got white clover going as a cover crop. Cover crops are supposed to be good for soil health and contribute to a healthier food web. So far so good. As for the soil, it’s a combination of two premixed organic grow blends that I amended slightly. It’s working for the time being but I’ll need to keep working on it to dial it in. Thanks for cruisin!
@Itslegalnow, you know, mostly not but sort of.
I had to chop all of this down. Mites got the best of my garden while I was out of town. I tried to get them in check before I left. In my veg tent I did but my flower tent was pretty bad when I returned. I cleaned it out, bleached it, let it sit for 3 weeks, bleached it again, let it sit for three weeks and bleached it again.
I gave most of my clones away but I save. MAC1 and and AZ4. I put those in my flower tent after a couple rounds of topping and they’re like 15 days in now.
I killed the Bokashi experiment. It works. You can make super rich soil in a small urban space. But I don’t have to and I’m not going to anymore 😂
I switched to pots, ditched the beds. Everything is clean and in good working order. If everything goes according to plan I’ll harvest in about 50 days 😎
Sorry for the long answer to the short question bit as you can see, no but yes needed some explaining. That said, I’m happy to chat growing anytime.
Thanks!
