Grow Questions

Looks like my harelquin and dance world plants have nut lockout due to low ph. I have been using liquid dolimite lime for the past 4 days. The symptoms are not getting better. The cheap ph meter indicates a ph of 5. What's the best way to fix this?

Flush flush flush. Damage is done and leaves won't recover. But can stop it from spreading further. Use proper ph water till desired ph is in run off. Replacing any nutrition along the way. Always have a 20 percent run off and test ph of end part of run off. The run off washes salts out of soil which will spike your ph down if they build up. Chemicals used to grow leave salts behind. So have to keep pushing the old out when you add new. Good luck and happy growing

had some trouble with ph and then needing to flush. This increased the humidity with already stressed plants. looks like one bud got botrytis. i cut it off the plant. should I cut my losses and harvest now or closely monitor and hope spores do not affect plants?

Unfortunately, you have a sativa dominant strain so your flower time should extend for 10+ weeks. Harvesting now would be a shame. In your position, I would start by examining every single flower for sickness. Remove any that you're unsure about. Cut off fan leaves where the foliage is dense to increase airflow. Get a couple fans rolling to circulate as much air as possible. An inline fan would be a great addition if you don't have one. Direct the air out of the tent and open up a vent or two for the fresh air to pull in from. A nice, dry environment with fresh air is your best chance to save her.

@Polaskis, thanks. despite having to pull my plants early due to botrytis and a mess of ph issues, I still had some buds that I'm now enjoying after some curing time

@BDar_medicine,i'd harvest early if i were you, it's too late in flower to use milk and water, dr.zymes solution could help but is not worldwide available.

@Smokwiri, just a bit concerned about bud rot spreading. trying to weigh up an early harvest or risk the spread of botrytis 😕
