Over time, the top layer of mineral wool "turns green". The development of algae on a wet illuminated surface is a normal phenomenon, it serves as an indicator that there are no substances toxic to plants in the substrate. I don't know.... to close the substrate from entering the light ?! What do you think ?

Over time, the top layer of mineral wool "turns green". The problem is probably that the humidifier is located too close to the plant. I don't know.... to close the substrate from entering the light ?! What do you think ?

Algae is common, comes from mositure and light. Cover the wool with a garbage bag or something similar, to block the light until plant shades it.

The brown spotting in the leaves could be a phosphorus deficiency. Good looking plant though, good luck!

@Thumbnail83, Perhaps you re right! I will keep an eye on the condition of the plant. Thank! But perhaps it is a nutrient burn - the spots appeared after the increase in PPM.
