She had been in the water for almost 18 hours. Tested her after several hours just a little push if she sinks. She did so she supposed to be viable however, she was a bit nasty she doesnt want to sink easily I have tried to "push" several times but finally she gave up and went to the bottom lol
After all, I placed her between damp paper towel and we just waitin'

19/9/21:
Germination failed. She just did not make it. I placed an other seed in the water.
23.09.2021: The previous one could not make it so I just germinated an other one. Tap root out I think one more day to be planted.
Day 1 - 25.09.2021: Finally the second attmept was okay and she is also out.

Hi there! So this is her first week and because she was planted later she missed the high humidity haha....
Ventilation is on every 2 hours for 5 min and the ViparSpectra XS2000 is set to be on 50% of the full capacity so 120 W.
Watering is approx 0.04 dl per day and no any fertilization...
Lamp 18/6... temperature is around 26-29 Celsius.... humidity is approx 60%.
That's all for now.

Started some fertilization also with Bat Guano, Biobizz family /before someone ask why I use BioBloom and Top Max in veg just beacuse lol/

And yes, I do it on Tuesday and Saturday except the Epsom just 1x a week the rest then 2x for now.
No training yet she is too young lol

Hi there let's say in the middle of the 3rd week.
Not really much to say she started growing from now properly. All good 👍 She just got her first LST today. That's all.
I will mention more about changes since last week but not really much changed neither lol.
Lamp back to 125W so approx 40% of the max and the water intake is more a bit so:
Lamp is set to be on 125W approx 40% of the full power.....
Humidity stays on approx 60%
Ventilation switches on in every 2 hours for 5 min....
Watering like 0.06l per day....
Fertilization also with Bat Guano, Biobizz family - BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax... so these ones 2x a week....
Epsom salt.... 1x a week....

Welcome to the end of the week 4 on Day 27... ;)
My Sativa lady! Look at those leafs haha
She has her light green colour and she did grow a lot recently...
I did emove some big fan leaves especially from the bottom just for better air circulation....¹
Another week another LST just "tied" the brunches a bit just spread them.
Fertilization remains the same with the same bat guano, epsom salt and Biobizz family - BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax... 2x a week epsom just once.
Ratio is above... ;)
Lamp is on 150W so approx 60% of the max and it is fine just placed the fan kit in so the temp is lower approx 25 degrees and constantly fresh air goes in and the humidity is lower as well around 50%...
Every 2 hours ventilation is on as well for 2 minutes just to make a better air circulation.
She receives approx 0.8 ml water a day...
I am wondering how long it will take for her to flower I think 10 weeks 🤔
Day 32, 25th of October 2021:
This week is not about LST anymore it is FIMing week that means she has FIMmed on all of her "heads" so like approx 6-8 times....
Spliffs Strawberry 🍓 the typical Sativa with that "saw blade" style leaves...
Well, here I am afraid a bit of streching as she just FIMmed and Sativa however, I beleive she will be cool with that :) She looks pretty a bit lighter in colour.
Honestly I don't really have big experience with Sativas mostly Indicas and hybrids but I am pretty sure that I can handle the situation. I know it will take a bit longer for her to flower and also she won't be the chunky numero uno but I still expect great things haha :)
Smell is quite strong 😆
I wanna give her several days before the darkness period which is 3 days and the from next week switching to 12/12. She is FIMmed only so it doesn't really stress her to give them much extra time to recover before flowering.
I think it will be the right time to switch on the next week because I can see she really wants to flower 🌼 ☺️ 😅
But for now lamp is still 18 hours on, set to be on 150W (approx 60% of the max) ventilation is on for 10 minutes in every 2 hours but the extraction fan is 18 hours on with the lamp...
Humidity approximately is the same 50% and the temperature as well +/- 1-2 Celsius.
Water intake increased approx 0.12-0.15L per day.
Fertilization is the same Epsom salt once a week, and then 2x a week Biobizz Family included BioGrow, BioBloom, TopMax and of course - Vitalink bat gunao also.

So She had 2 days of darkness before the lamp was on again and from today it is 12/12.
Big change also is the power: It is now on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity.
Ventilation is different as well under the 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hours on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan.
The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min.
That's all a bit more water for her from today also. Humidity quite the same, temperature as well.
Fertilization changed, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above.
Previously it was just 1ml per liter each.
The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.
Not much to mention as it just started.

Hi there! Here we go the second week of flowering. This is the time really not much to say apart from the strech... Yes... Important factor it happened and happening now as I expected. She is sativa so crazily grows look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa lol
Not much changed maximum a bit more water intake for her a bit raised.
I just post the current settings and facts basically it is just the same like last week when it started.

AnywYs all good and the pistils are coming so all good ao far. Very tall lady I can imagine what if she had been planted let's say in 20L lol i would not be able to control. Nice lesson to grow proper sativa ;)

A lot of leaves off but it gives her nice look haha.
Look at her and it makes me say proud lady lol.

Looks like a tower.
Very tall plant she added a lot of in size. Leaves are dying but there is no problem with that I guess as she seem to be nice ;)
The only changes I made is the ventilation and the extraction fan is off at the same time with the lamp so only switches on when the lamp does.
So this is the set up and and operation schedule now:

Amazing strain, nice to grow and very strong smoke lol it takes your head away get ready.
I think the strongest Sativa I have ever smoked lol.....
When you grow the plant you will this is a more unique genetics but it is noticable especially when the flowers appear the smell, the plant itslef and of course the smoke bummmm :)
Not hard to grow and you can easily see the sativa blood just look at the leaves that typical "saw blade" style and bushy :)
I beleive you can train even harder than I did - I did only constant LST and FIMming once more branches that's all.
She's got strong resistance but no worries when she enters to the flowering stage she will hardly have leaves in the end which is normal just check out the description about her here or on the official Spliff Seeds website.

Not much really to say I am satisfied and I know you would be as well.
The flowers has a little bit of light purple colour from closer look and she created nice rock nugs as well. The smell is amazing unique, flowery, fruity, sweet yes my friend said lol it is really strawberry🍓 haha.
If you read teh description about her it really matches.1
It is said the she is 80% Sativa and 20% Indica that sounds very true to me.
The taste is actually the same like the smell, flowery, fruity, sweet. Really nice....
The effect it is so strong like the Afghani Gold strain but in Sativa style.
Well, it really mess up your head you just totally get high as fuck and body stone comes with it.
I am not a big sativa fan actually and she is very strong lol even it is written that THC content is somewhere between 15%-
21%....
Well, for me it can compete with those strains that have 28% THC I beleive.
She is really powerfull twist your head as fuck and lasts long.
Be careful she can give you surprise for sure.
Finally if you wanna grow a real cool plant that comes out with a unique shape, amazing quality tasty and great smelling buds and want a great resistance, easy grow session then don't wait more grab this genetics.
But do not forget this is Sativa so she streches a lot when she starts flowering as I mentioned above!!!!!
If you are a Sativa fan then it will be perfect for you 👌 especially if you can handle the strenght that this genetics holds.

What's the purpose of the epsom salts?, probably a stupid question,
but everyone flushes their plants to get rid of the salts, unless your
growing organic and don't have to worry about salt build-up, why add the extra salt?

Let's say one teaspoon/L no more I use granulades for now so just place it by my eyes.
Well, I usually stop using epsom salt 2 weeks before harvest to get rid of it properly by flushing.
I thinknfor now leave it it as ot is and go for it for next time.
Yes, because it was more manganese and and my b3 some.zinc deficiency....
But those times ebding their life cycle it is normal priot to the end of the flowering cycle no worries about it yellowing, dying leaves are normal especially at the bottom but as they get closer to the end it happens by its nature.

I've been growing my photoperiod( strawberry Banana, Canuk seeds elite strain)
100% organic using dutch sciences, molasses and Great white,0 boosters or supplements.
The plant is super healthy and flowering quite well, still aways to go, just wondering if the
salts would give a little boost this close to the end or should I wait to try it on the next grow?
Any adice would be helpful, My last photoperiod started to get brown spots all over the leafs
in the last weeks before flush, doubled up the cal-mag, didn't seem to help, maybe more mag. and sulpher is the answer????

Firstly I do grow organic I use only bat guano and Biobizz family plus the epsom salt. Done ✔️
Secondly the answer is: Epsom salt helps improve flower blooming and enhances a plant's green color. ... It can even help plants grow bushier. Epsom salt is made up of hydrated magnesium sulfate (magnesium and sulfur), which is important to healthy plant growth.
Obviously, towards end of the 💐 period it ain't gonna be used as it has to be flushed as well :) I hope it helps. Cheers
Beautiful, I see some strange leaves, it seems a genetic defect? I also had a plant that had the tips cut like yours, it was a Tutankhamun, I planted the sister and it came out perfect! As always a plant even if it is the same genetics, nn is identical to the other! Hello and good cultivation✌️🏻
