Ok I'm a old school grower . Used to grow tripples with HID lights.
Always fascinated with the idea of LED. So I purchased a very cheap red/ blue led , apparently 300 watts. Ya right . It pulls 45 watts from the wall. So I added a Walmart yes a Walmart 25 watt COB light.
Space is 18 by 20 inches.
Dirt is a Rona pro mix with slow release fertilizer , benneficial fungi , 40 percent organic compost .
I'm using a tiny amount of water soluble chemical fertilizer to feed the fungi to get it active . Then I top dress with same dirt every two weeks.
I'm using a one gallon pot to reduce size .
I'm growing for taste . I got this seed from Crop King to try out. It's a mix of Northern lights ( big bud) and white window . I have grown both 20 years ago.
The taste was exelent. Different from what I have read but closer to what I expected. Seed number two is now getting ready to flower. I'll try to post future grows with more pics.
This was a grow experiment. I messed up almost killed the plant too close to lite. She sprung back and produced plenty of capitate stalked trichromes.
Beautiful looking buds. Light green calyxes with orange pistils.
There are different phennos of Early Miss this one from seed to chop about 11 or 12 weeks.
I used to grow with HPS and heavy feeding followed by a complex flush to get rid of salt build up in soil.
So ten plus years later I'm using a blurple LED and a COB led. Total 65 watts .
I shoved the plant four inches under the light at about week 4. You don't notice lite burn untill it's too late. Mass necrosis of leaves they never recover.
Early miss this particular phenno is unbelievablly robust! I moved the plant to about ten inches from the light never bothered repotting from the one liter container. The plant survived and made some delicious flowers.
There is no symbol for cantaloupe flavour or honey or marzipan. I did not feed this plant it survived on Pro Mix. I'm certain this is why the flavour is so amazing . Absolutely no bite. Super smooth smoke.
I have a second Early Miss going now. It is very different from this plant. I highly recommend Early Miss as this phenno is super tough. It must be the Ruderalis genetics.
These pictures are taken far before I knew of GD. Thus just a few bud shots .
@DoDrugs420, thanks it was a tester from Crop King. Early Miss would make an exelent out door strain. There are two phennos. A large yielding plant that takes a bit longer to mature and a compact early finish plant. Very healthy robust strain.
