Hey Everyone! We are stoked to be here again with some more clones from our buddy. Really excited to be growing these 3 new-to-us strains! Just before we flipped these ladies we gave them a real nice haircut and took our first stab at cutting clones as well. My fear was that the Tut was going to be too tall but we decided to let it go and see what would happen. Well the Tut has now started growing past the lights. I am unsure if it is safe to top them while we are already in the flowering process; any advice or tips here would be welcomed graciously. We are watering about every 3 to 4 days with the exception of the Tut; she's large and seems to need water more often. Our Week 1 nutes are AN - Bud Igniter; AN - Bud Factor X, and CANNA - Terra Flores and we are watering with 1.5L in 3 Gallon cloth pots. Into week 2 we will be adding Big Bud! Thanks for checking in :)
Here we are for week 2!
This week was a little tough. We don't have much knowledge when it comes to training our plants so trying to tackle the height issue with the Tut hasn't been all that pleasurable.
So we finagled the tomato cages over the ladies to give them some support; something we should have done when we flipped but that's yet another brain fart. What we attempted to do was weave the main colas of the Tut in between the cage layers and that did help a little. We also raised the lights as much as we could. It still doesn't seem to be enough though. We have used zip ties to slowly tie the colas back and that's helping a bit but this lady will not stop growing haha!!
Anyway, with the first week of Big Bud and the last week of Igniter we are noticing some HUGE love in the bud sites which is really nice. Plus the last few days the gorgeous scent these ladies are giving off is filling the entire basement!
They definitely grew this week that's for sure. We are looking at giving a hair cut around the 5 week mark so we can get some more light to the lower parts of the plant but we may need to do it at week 4 since we didn't take enough down on the initial flip.
Thanks again for checking in; we welcome any tips, hints, advice, questions, or concerns you have to offer!
All in all Week 3 was pretty good. We raised the lights up just a little more (The highest they can get in the space) and it seems like the ladies are at their final height which is nice. The Domina has shot up a few inches though which is nice; hopefully she can snag some more light now!
The buds in the ladies are looking real good, I am noticing such a HUGE difference with this Bud Igniter. The Domina is a tad behind the Tut and the Snow but she's really showing the last few days of this week so she may catch up a bit. We dropped the Bud Igniter after week 2 finished and now its just the Canna, Big Bud, and Bud Factor X.
I decided to go for a week 4 haircut instead of a week 5 haircut so I have some end of Week 3 shots as well as some beginning of Week 4 haircut shots!
Hope everyone has a great week <3
Hey everyone!! The Ladies are looking incredible! Not a whole lot to say this time around. The smell is really getting strong now going into week 5. This is our last week with Big Bud; Week's 5-6 will be just the Canna and the Factor X and then weeks 7-8 will be Canna and OverDrive and then our final 2 weeks will be Flush weeks.
A bit on the watering schedule. Last time around we did a strict 3 day schedule, I watered ever 3 days no matter what the soil looked like and I think that was an issue. This time around I am just waiting for the ladies to tell me when they're ready. I am watering them with about 1.5 L each time. The Domina and Snow average out to about every three days and the Tut is almost every 2 right now.
I am very pleased with the bud and trichome production I am seeing already at week 4 into 5. It's making me very hopeful!
Week 5 has been a breeze! Going into week 6 we are seeing a lot of great things. The buds are starting to get nice and tight and thick which is so awesome! Every is SUPER sticky thanks to the Bud Factor X. Watering has stayed the same generally. Definitely need to work on our trimming for next flower as there is a lot of lower spots that are super small and not getting much love. We are still learning though!
Going into week 6 we will have to create some structures for a few of these branches. The buds are gaining weight and a few branches are becoming a little top heavy.
Hey y'all!! Week 6 was great! We are seeing some amazingly frosty and sticky buds coming from these three ladies!!
This was they're last week with the Bud Factor-X and we move to AN's Overdrive for weeks 7 & 8 and then the flush for the final 2 week's water.
I am beyond excited about how the ladies are going. At the beginning of this flip I was very sceptical but I have turned around!!
The Tut is a little droopy in today's pictures because I let her go one extra day so I could begin week 7 Nutes with all the plants at the same time but she will be standing tall again by tomorrow!!
Thanks for checking in!
Week 7 was nuts.
We saw lots of growth in these ladies. Our bud is getting sizeable. This dwarfs our last grows!!!
I am loving the difference between the bud shapes of the three strains! They're gorgeous!!
We started Advanced Nutes-Overdrive this week and definitely noticed it by the end of the week. Going to run it for 1 more week and then about 2 weeks to flush after that.
I am nervous to flush though. We have some supports on the tut and its tied down in spots and I am just worried about messing up the branches while we move it out of the tent to flush. We don't really have a great system to drain water down here so the last round we let them drain in the tub so we didn't have to keep emptying drip trays.
If anyone has any suggestions I would gladly take them!
Week 8 was a wild ride. I have not been looking froward to the flush as the stability of the Tut is very questionable and has been tied to and leaning on the other two ladies but we made it I guess haha!
The tops of these three ladies got nice a thick during their last week of OverDrive and base nutes, hoping to see a little more swelling in flush. The pictures above are from end of week 8 beginning of week 9 after their first flush of straight water.
I was going to flush with 3L as I have been giving them 1.5L each water but I ended up doing 4L for the first water and I will drop it to 3 after that.
I will be watching to see when they dry up and need a drink so I can judge when we plan to do the final water, 48 hours of dark and then harvest.
We rearrange and stabilized the Tut so that going forward the flushing process will be a bit easier!
I was so surprised when I took the Hawaiian Snow out and got such a powerful wif of mango. That this is gorgeous and smells amazing!
I was doin some reading on these strains and I am finding conflicting information on the recommended flower schedule for each so I will have to dive into that further to for the next round of clones!!
Looking forward to see what kind of yield we pull from these ladies!
This week was cool! Being able to maneuver around in the tent after organizing the Tut was really nice haha!
So we did 3 Flushes this week the first was 4Ls and the 2nd and 3rd were 3Ls all with straight water. There has been a noticeable swell in the buds which is really nice. Seeing some gorgeous buds here.
The smell is getting so strong!
Starting to see some discolouration in some of the foliage which tells me the flush is going well.
We were going to do 2 full weeks of flush before harvest but its looking like we are going to do one final flush on Tuesday, lights off on Wednesday morning for 48 hours of dark and then we will harvest Friday!
I cannot wait for harvest day :)
