RQS Quick One / Slow One

Day 42 - The plant still appears to be in the vegetative stage, which is great. I’m getting a nice bushy plant with lots of tops just what I like to see. One deformed leaf... not sure if I damaged it? Looks like it grew that way. There’s some tip burn on the fan leaves that is likely light stress... I’ve had some issues in my past grow as well. Otherwise she’s very health. Main stem beefy and leaves are nice and green. Last week of veg? For LST, what I do is tie the main stem down between every nodule or two as the plant grows, wrapping the plant around the pot in a clockwise direction. I’m also tucking fan leaves under other fan leaves to expose as many of the tops the light as possible. For nutrient, just to clarify, I am not adding any liquid synthetic nutrients at any time. I have mixed Gaia Green 4-4-4 all purpose and power bloom into the media. Media is regular organic potting mix and coco husk in about a 1:4 ratio. If you saw my lighting setup you would laugh, but has been effective and inexpensive. Day 44 - a devastating day in the life of Quick One... I got a little overzealous with training and snapped the main top 😬 life flashed before my eyes. I considered for a moment trying to tape the brake.... but it was clean through. Saved it with rooting hormone.
