Cock a Doodle Doooooo growers
.
Ok to start things off, the seeds came from Crop King, ordered 10 received 12 all 12 germinated BUT 2 different phenom types and I am not sure which one the Mommy is. I will upload pics later. On the first grow 2 complete different phenom types, as the buds on one were very typical looking "Gelato" nice hairs orange and very nice looking, the other has no hairs, hardly to none. Complete different flavor and bud structure. Both are fabulous.
The Mom got over nuted when I moved her into the new tent and at first thought the signs were light overdose as I had a different and powerful led and replaced with the Mars Hydro ts1000. Then noticed the mistake I made with the watering and over nuted, flushed once every 3 days over a bucket with 75 degree water. Soooooo Mommy looks a lil sick to start though I still made the starts from her after the flushing. The starts had some leaf damage to start with and did not look all that good and I was not sure what the starts would/will do. After 10 days H 75% T 75 I fed a mild feeding.
1-1 update
Girls are looking better and it looks like all 12 are taking roots. New growth showing on a few. After the fan leaves depleted their nitrogen (turning yellow)er lol, I trimmed them off as the roots have taken. No floaters during watering. Turned up the light to 75%. I am just looking for the best 6 for my first tent led grow, the others will turn into Mommies for Friends or outdoor. I will wait about a week before a transplant into the 3 gallon fabric and move them to their own house. Wow they looked kind of rough to start that is for sure, getting better. Dumb Jr Woodchuck watering mistake
So to clarify the start of these. First I purchased Crop King Gelato (all 12 seeds germinated) and noticed different growing rates of the plants and figured it was my lighting. I did not really notice the drastic difference in plant Phenom types until she flowered as I had half and half. So I have no idea who the Mommy Gelato I made is, is it even Gelato? But I did make my 12 girls from that Mommy, so time will tell. Not sure if I am happy with Crop King or not, though I did just order some Auto G Glue and Zkittles, lol lol. for 2 new tent grows. Just wish I knew what this other pant type is.
1-4 Update.
New growth on everybody, some of the more scraggly ones are a wee bit slower but should make great Mommies and are in no rush and looks like I have my 4-6 girls. Very curious to see what Phenom my clones are and how they respond compared to the seeds from the previous crop. Next update girls should be in their new home and pots.
The smoke from the previous crop is an 8.5/10. Very slow cool dry cure as I am all about flavor. Will update some pics when I can.
1-7
Last group pic update. Transplanting the chosen 6.

@LokaGass, Thanks. It has been a fun batch to grow. super easy, a new fave for sure. Can't wait to see what outdoor does. Clones super easy. Keep your Rock LOUD
Hi, thanks. Trying to figure out how to navigate around here, lol. Watching your grow as well, very nice looking. These starts were made 12-19. Cloned easy, made 12 from a scraggly Mommy and they all made it and seem to be taking roots nice. Not sure the Phenotype as CC sent 2 different seed types 5 of each pretty much. Grew totally different and buds were totally different. Both very good and maybe I like the unknown one better. lol. Rock on
@DoDrugs420, Wow, super kind words. If only part of that comes to Fruition, mission accomplished. Gelato is a wonderful strain.
Make sure you
TURN
IT
up
they love it.
@Omahoney_Canna_Thusiast, Yep, not something you see everyday, lol, just every Winter around here. I took a pic of some reverse LST, as they moved sideways and melted little cycles formed looking like branches in reverse. I will post it. Rock on. Spring is coming the outdoor Gelato starts are getting ready.
@TastyBudzz, Hey, she performed great and is pulling out of my jr woodchcuk water/feed mess up. Her Daughters are simply gorgeous. Going to make some more starts from her for early May planting. Rock on
