I am growing these 3 plants for my mother. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer so I hope that these plants to be, kindly provided by Sweet seeds, will bring her some ease.
Thank you Sweet seeds.
Thank you to sweet seeds once again for the seeds.
All 3 plants had germinated at the same time in a paper towel and was then transferred to a pot.
Plant 1 has had a head start in terms of showing its self above the surface of the soil, it was quite tall but I topped the soil up since.
Plant 2 got a little lost in the soil so I have had to excavate a little until I saw it coming through. It appears that the water had pushed it further down into the soil.
Plant 3 is growing really well also.
No concerns on the very first week :)
I expected for the growth of these plants to have speeded up a bit by now. Unsure just yet, but my last plant (same strain) had a similar growth, different to the rest of my strains.
This week has been somewhat eventful. I noticed some eggs underneath the new leafs so I had sprayed a dilute of washing up liquid with water to get rid. The timer for the light had a minor issue and therefore it turned on when I had sprayed the plant thus resulting in plant 1 with leaf scorch. I repotted this plant into a smaller pot as it is only small and gave it some sweet lolita for the shock it has endured. (new soil - miracle grow premium).
Plant 2 is fine, but it seems to have gained a small friend (orange or lemon seedling). Can't be bad I suppose lol
Plant 3 is due to be potted up soon now I have more geotextile pots ready. And will most likely be miracle grow also.
I have ordered some potassium soap for the plants just in case those pesky spider mites return.
This week has seen significant improvement throughout all plants.
Plant 1 has recovered from its leaf scorch, although smaller than the others just yet, is growing just as well.
Plant 2 has experienced no issues and continues to be the biggest out of the 3.
Plant 3 has started to show signs of flowering with pistols developing. It has been re potted this week into a bigger geotextile pot with mircale grow premium soil with sweet lolita for the shock of transplanting.
All is well so far and I am looking forward to see the development.
The smell is currently getting strong day by day.
This week has seen some great results. Plant 3 flowered first, followed by plant 1 and 2. Plant 2 is only just gaining its pistols.
A mixture of techniques from defoliation and LST.
Madame grow flower karma Induction has been used to influence more bud sites, more dense buds and flavour. It is too early to tell whether it is working yet. Canna terra flores nutrients will be used throughout the flower cycle, not forgetting what soil each plant sits in. As this is a soil based plant it will be diluted a lot to prevent any nutrient scorch.
This week plant 2 is showing red colours. The other two plants are showing flowers but not as much as plant 2. Considering plant 3 flowered first.
All plants are reacting well to the nutrients and show no issues as of yet.
Plant 1 is lagging behind somewhat compared to the other 2 plants. However, they're all showing great results so far and with extra time I am confident they will continue to show potential.
Plant 2, well, what can I say? Waw. The purple colours are definitely starting to show with great trichome analysis through the magnifier.
Plant 3 is more of a lollipop structure with a few colas towards the bottom.
All plants have had to be defoliated somewhere to allow room for extra light. They have all undergone LST also.
Great results so far... 1/3 showing purple buds.
This week has been a mix of LST and defoliation to enhance bud production at bud sites.
Some really good results so far. However, still, 1 of the 3 plants are developing purple buds. Not a major issue I suppose.
It is interesting to see how all of the same variety are reacting/growing differently though.
This week, well, waw. More dense buds, getting bigger that's for sure, with jam packed trichomes.
Plant 1 is getting a bit bigger now and showing its potential, no purple colours still...
Plant 2 is a beauty, check those trichomes of all colours... Really can't wait to see this and is way ahead compared to the others
Plant 3 is the runt of the litter, small and cheerful with its lollipop features as its main feature.
Really am proud of these though...
This week has been eventful for these ladies.
Plant 1 is just working its way into the harvest window but buds are green still.
Plant 2 is ready for flushing stage, it is way ahead of all the rest.
Plant 3 I am upset with, I have changed the lights to 12/12 because of 1 other photoperiod grow in the same grow space. As a result, humidity has built and mould started to occur. This was taken out of the grow space for a few days and monitored. I washed the mid stem with lemon juice, normal antibacterial and anti mould method.
Hopefully that will be all of the bad luck illeviated from now on... Here's to the harvest window...
I'd like to firstly say I have changed the light in the grow space to a 2000 tp Mars hydro (300w). Great results still....
Plant 1 is OK, it is a bit behind but is slowly catching up.
Plant 2, I think you have guessed is my favourite. Outstanding cola top with side buds and trichomes.
Plant 3 has recovered well from central bud rot, no apparent signs anymore which is good. This would've probably reduced yield somewhat but not much.
Overall, impressive and here's to flushing for the next 2 weeks.
Flushing has commenced over the last 2 weeks. A lot of nutrients remain.
Plant 1 is slowly experiencing deficiency in magnesium, followed by plant 2 experiencing a greater deficiency following flawless finish being added to water.
Plant 3 has been removed from the grow space area due to the risk of mould transferring over to other plants, hence the cola being harvested so far. The dry result of this cola was 6g, with more of a leafy texture rather than a buddy one.
Here's to the next week of the harvest window where all plants should be cut if all goes to plan.
Great strain and amazing taste. Very relaxed and doesn't get you high. Beware you may still fail a drugs test with this. Would reccomend for topical, smoking or edibles, real game changer.
