Welcome to my diary!! I look forward to growing this strain and learning along the way. This is the first grow that I will be using nutrients, and I'm looking forward to the journey. Let's get started! This run will be Hawaiian Platinum Koffee by Hawaiian Grasshopper Genetics. I started out by placing 12 seeds in peat pods. I then put them in a domed germination tray and placed it on a heating pad. After 30 hours, 6 of the seeds are showing roots. After 48 hours, all 12 seeds have germinated. I then placed all 12 in 16 oz cups and put a dome on each of them. After that, I put them in the tent and adjusted the lux to around 2000. 1/04 - Some of the seedlings look weak. They are not producing long tap roots. I'm keeping those under humidity domes, and have my humidity set at 65 in the tent. Hawaiian Platinum Koffee is an F1 Polyhybrid Regular Photoperiod Big Size Plant & Yield (Huckleberry Platinum Cookies/Northern Lights x Koffee Cake/Sky Cuddler Kush F3) (female) x Hawaiian Dream (male) 9 Week Flower Lineage Is Huckleberry Platinum Cookies, Koffee Cake, Northern Lights, Sky Cuddler Kush F3, Auto Purple Microdot, Og Kush, Bubba Kush (Breeders Include: Guardian Of The Lost Terps, Morningstarseedco, Black King Genetics) Bred By: Hawaiian Grasshopper Genetics Sweet, Gassy, & Peachy Odor's Fabric pots: Opulent Systems Nutrients Dyna-Gro Harvest: Opulent Systems drying rack Humidity and Temperature control: IHC-200, ITC-308, & IBS-YH2 @inkbird_us Backpack sprayer: petratools Additives: Bloom Roots, Pre, Ultra, Phat and Final. I lost two seedlings because I wasn't paying attention and my tent dropped to 59°F and 40 humidity for a couple days. I solved that with putting in a heater and fixing my humidifier. Most of them stressed a bit, but I think the rest will make it.

Welcome back. It appears the low temperature and humidity stunted these seedlings. For the most part, they look like they will survive, but I'm seeing almost no growth this week.

Hi again! I'm seeing a little growth this week, and they are looking healthier, especially lucky number 13. I'm seeing a little leaf deformation in plants 2 and 7, but nothing too wild.

There was some good growth this week. It looks like they've recovered from the cold and low humidity. All plants are lush green.

Well, I can say with certainty that the cold and low humidity early in their lives slowed them down quite a bit. That said, they have definitely recovered. I'm guessing that I added at least 2 weeks to their veg time. That's OK though. I'm having a lot of fun with these little plants! I plan to up their nutrients very soon and transfer them into 1 gal pots.

What a great week! They have definitely recovered from their stress and are shooting up. All 11 plants are showing good color and growth, so I repotted them into 1 gallon fabric pots. I'm hoping to be able to start sexing them in a couple weeks.

I'm seeing good growth on all plants this week. I'm being careful not to overwater, but I an starting to observe some of the plants drinking more than the others. That said. I haven't seen any problems at all since the initial strrss. I will top each plant tomorrow and switch them to 12/12 to check for sex. I'm having a lot of fun!

This was an eventful week! I topped all 12 and flipped them to 12/12 in order to sex them. The males showed first, as usual. And I was lucky to get 8 females. I culled the males, and put the females back under 18/6 to veg longer. This was a fun week! I see a few different phenos, with one extremely squat, and another narrow. The predominate plants are pretty well proportioned and show similar structure. This week was a lot of work, but enjoyable.

With the males out of the tent, I have a little more room to spread them out. One plant is much different than the rest. It's short and squat. Another is pretty narrow, showing minimal side branch growth. The rest are similar, and I like the way they are developing. I took the top fan leafs all the plants to open up the lower nodes. They all seemed to respond well, and I'm seeing good side branch growth. What a week!

Yet another fun and eventful week! I did some final defiliation and LST before I flip them next week. I'd love to repot these into 3 gallon pots and veg longer, but I just don't have the space. I should get a good yield anyway. They grew well this week, and filled out nicely. I'm loving the way most of these are developing. The topping worked well and my canopy is looking good on these. I didn't have any problems this week. Everything went well, and I had a great time!

I was not expecting to get this many females. That said, I don't have room to repot these into larger containers, so I am doing an unplanned, modified Sea of Green (SoG). I put all seven plants into my Gorilla 2x2.5 and kept them in their 1 gal (I'm being generous on the size, as they look much smaller). So far, so good!

I'm starting to see some pre-flower, along with some clawed leaves on some of the plants. I believe the clawing is from heat stress, so I am backing the lights off a few inches. I also skipped the nutrients for a couple days to see if that helps them recover. Other than that, it's been a steady week.

I've noticed that two of the girls I flipped last week are displaying some leaves that are curling down. I couldn't get the picture to upload here, but click this question and you will see. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yoo bro! Looks like it could be either overwatered ( wouldn’t worry on watering if you using coco), but it could also be a nitrogen toxicity depending on what you gave her. Last thing i would check is air. Is your plant having a fan blowing on her constantly? could be stressed from this. Good luck with it man 🖖🏽

I still have a little leaf curl on some of the plants, and I'm also seeing a little nutrient deficiently in the same plants. We can safely say that the leaf curl was due to heat, or light, stress. I upped the nutrients on the deficient plants, and backed the light off a little more.

The girls are doing fine this week. They are packing on some weight and I'm starting to get a sweet, coffee smell from some of them. I'm noticing at least three different phenotypes, which was expected with F1 seeds. That said, all but one gave a good stretch, and each of them is showing great bud development.

Hello again! I'm enjoying this week. The subtle, and sometimes not so subtle, differences in the phenotypes is becoming more pronounce. One is displaying some nice purple colors, no doubt from it's Purple Microdot heritage. The same plant, however, is short and squat and will be the lowest yielder of the 7 in the tent. No problems at all this week. Everything is going well.

I just completed my 8th week since the flip, so I flushed each of these girls by running about 2 gal of water through each. I got the PPM down into the 200s, which is about normal for my hard water. They are all displaying some nice big buds, which smell of sweet coffee.

We're getting close. The buds are really fattening up, which is making me wish I could have put them in to bigger pots. Oh well, that's ok because I'm enjoying this SoG. I'm seeing some nice differences and similarities in the phenotypes, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they smoke. I do see that some are finishing quicker than others, so I will have to stagger the harvest, and chop some of them earlier than the others.

Welcome back! I had to harvest some of these at different times because, as expected, some phenotypes are finishing at different times. That said, I'm seeing some huge, tight buds for these small plants. The SOG worked well for me in this case simply because I didn't have the room to repot these into larger pots. They all smell of coffee and earth, with some of them having a more pronounced smell.

This was a very strong cultivar. She was subject to temperatures in the 50s F for several days along with low humidity. While this did stunt each of them, they all rebounded and performed well. They were very resilient to mold, disease, and pests. They performed well in a modified SOG. I say modified because I did top each plant and did a minimal amount of LST along the way. In a normal SOG, the grower pretty much just lets them grow. Each plant performed well, with some phenos looking better than others. That said, they all yielded well for being in 1 gal pots. Weight: #5-15g #10 - 45g #1 - 35g #4 - 30g #2 - 40g #3 - 30g #9 - 35g.
