40 hrs after adding water we officially have lift off! Just moved the germinated sour 91 into a 459 ml pot and placed it in the 3'x3'x6' tent under 18/6. Temperature in the tent is 23c and relative humidity is 48%. With any luck we should have a Sour 91 seedling in the next 48 hrs. 🤞🤞🤞
3 day's after germinated seed went into the soil I have a beautiful, healthy sour 91 seedling. Very excited about this one cause I'm a huge fan of the Chem line and Top Dawg seeds. My plan is to move this into a 2 gallon gro pro warrior pot after 2 weeks then let it go another 2 weeks into veg. before I drop the lights to 12/12. This is a reg. seed so really hoping it's a female, but if it turns out to be a male I may decide to use some pollen on a couple of the other cultivars I have at the same stage of growth to make some F1 hybrids. It's been approximately 7 days since the last diary entry for the sour 91. The plant is looking healthy and seems to be growing at a good rate. It did stretch a little more then I wanted it to so I dropped the spider farmer light down from 66 inches above the canopy to 54 inches above the canopy. It seemed to react to this right away by filling out more without the stretch. I also started feeding it a half rate of the veg fertilizers listed above. So far I've been happy with this one but only time will tell as it still has a long road in front of it. Looking forward to see what the next week brings. Until then stay kind
Thankfully week 2 is over! After over feeding in week one the Sour 91 is showing signs of bouncing back. I transplanted from a 459 ml pot to a 2 gallon pot and flushed with lots of water. I also raised the light up from 54 inches to 60 inches above the canopy while I also dimmed it to about 75% to create a less intense environment. After making the costly mistake of overfeeding I likely won't feed this plant again until I switch the lights to 12/12. Until next week stay kind GD and keep growing!
Week 3 was a good week for the Sour 91. It put on some good growth and looks pretty healthy. Besides topping it early in week 3, adding another led light with more of a blue spectrum and adding a cool mist humidifier to raise the humidity I didn't really do to much. Oh yeah I also dropped the lights to 36 inches above the canopy. It had been 7 days since I last watered it. Finally today the soil was dry so I gave it another heavy watering to help flush any remaining nutrients from the week 1 over fertilization. 2 maybe 3 more weeks until I flip the lights to 12/12 to see if I'm working with a male or female. Sour 91 is looking strong at week 5! It's sending out some nice branches after topping it. This will be it's last week of veg. Before I start the 12/12 light cycle. Really looking forward to gender reveal! If I had to guess this one looks like a female. Fingers crossed 🤞. Sorry for the pictures I forgot to turn of the blurple light.
All and all the Sour 91 is looking pretty good. It has been 10 days since my last post and the plant has put on some great veg. Growth. I've fertilized it twice in the last 10 days and plan on switching the lights to 12/12 in a few days. Originally I wanted to switch the lights to 12/12 last week, but felt it needed another week of veg. Excited for next week and the next chapter of the Sour 91. Until next week. Stay kind GD.
Sour 91 is looking great. Flipped lights to 12/12 at the end of week 6 and the plant is already showing some stretch. Only a few more days and I should know if this is a male or female. Wish me luck. Stay kind GD
