Still trying to figure out how to prevent the continuing calmag deficiency ... The PH & TDS should be correct, I even checked the runoff and everything is fine (PH 6.6, TDS 800 ppm), I am also adding calmag directly, but it does not seems to be really helping, so I am running out of ideas 🤷♂️.
EDIT day 44: I posted a question (https://growdiaries.com/grow-questions/29177-continuing-calmag-deficiency) about the deficiencies, and got a really thought out answer from ORGANOMAN, which after some thinking made a lot of sense.
After I first started feeding nutrients, I noticed some leaves clawing, so I laid of the nutrient with Nitrogen in it, thinking I am helping. But the initial nitrogen exceess could be caused by me using lightly pre-fertilized soil, which I realized only now.
The second thing pointing me to the nitrogen deficit being true is, that I "accidentally" added the nitrogen nutrient to one feeding, and the deficiencies slowed down significantly for a few days after that. Only at that time, I did not connect the dots, and was still treating the perceived calmag deficiency. Lets hope this is it 🤞.
@Chilipadi, Yes I did for a few feedings (Biobizz calmag) but I now think that was not the main problem. It turns out it was caused by me not using all 3 parts of the feeding (only 2). It seems to have stopped getting worse since I went back to all 3.
@Chilipadi, Thanks for the tip, but I do not think so. Its the same light I used for last 2 grows, where the canopy was even closer than it is now, and this is the first time I saw these problems.
@minigroww, yeah been there too.. i grew soil too with lots of problems then went pure coco with only floranova and boom 100-140gram per plant everytime, only have to correct the ph to around 6.1 and yr golden
@Chilipadi, It seems to be. All of the buds on mine started to foxtail around day 50. If you look at the strain page here at growdiaries (growdiaries.com/seedbank/fastbuds/lsd-25) I think you can see foxtails on many of the pics.
