My first auto flower grow.
This Ethos Banana Daddy auto flower was started on 12/29/2020.
Starting the seed I soaked it in a peroxide water solution for less than 20 hours. Then I placed it between 1/8 and 1/4 inch below the surface of my medium lightly covering it. I used 5ml of aerated tap water to wet the soil lightly on and around the seed. Then I used a old baby food container as my dome.
My soil is made by “Detroit Nutrient Company” their “Water Only” living soil. I mixed one cup of both a 4-4-4 and a 3-9-4 by “Dr. Earth” into one bag or one cubic foot of soil. Along with 3.5 pounds of worm castings made by “Detroit Nutrient Company” I then filled my 7 gallon fabric pot with this mix.
I cored about a large red plastic “Solo”cup worth of space out of the center of my grow bag. I mixed “Dr. Earth’s” seed starter mix and “Detroit Nutrient Company’s” worm castings in a 50/50 mix (half a red plastic cup worth of each) then added 1/4 teaspoon of “Great White’s” premium mycorrhizae. I mixed those three throughly and proceeded to fill my core hole.
I did this in hope that it’s a less hot mix for the plant to start in without having to be transplanted.
