ecandeedz711 First grow! Germinated in damp toilet paper in DVD case as per Mephisto's guide, put the DVD case wrapped in a t shirt on our wifi router to keep it warm.
2 out of 3 seeds germinated in approx. 36 hours and the last seed germinated in approx. 45 hours.
Light is approx. 40 inches away and at 50%, substrate was watered with ph'd water
Placed seeds directly in substrate (coco & perlite) and turned humidity up to 70%, temp is at approx. 72 degrees
Oh and keeping some basil in the tent until it gets in the way :)

ecandeedz711 Day 1 (1/8/21) - And we have sprouts! Almost exactly 48 hours from germination, all 3 began emerging from the soil; at approx. 56 hours all 3 seedlings are around .5in tall. They are ready to go!!
I misted them last night with a bit of PH'd water to make sure they stayed moist. I will probably wait until the coco dries out and then give them water with calimagic tomorrow.
Day 2 (1/9/21) - Watered them tonight with PH'd tap water with Calimagic until I saw some runoff (approx. 2 gallons between the 3 plants), will probably water every other day alternating PH water and PH water w/ calimagic for the first week or so. Also keeping lights at approx. 50-60%
Day 4 (1/11/21) - Watered them tonight with PH'd tap water. Put the humidifier on a smart timer to run 15 min every 6 hours since running it 24/7 was definitely overkill. The tent seems to be holding the humidity well on that schedule. My AC infinity is set to keep humidity below 60%.
Day 7 (1/14/21) - Watered them tonight with PH'd tap water. Plant 3 is looking slightly heat stressed and it is the closest to the radiator. Turned the radiator down a few degrees (around 73 degrees) and moved the pots over a bit.

ecandeedz711 Day 8 - (1/15/21) One week down and they are growing fast! I will probably water with calimagic tomorrow, do one more plain ph'd water and then start them on the flora series (1/4 strength or less). I am switching the humidifier to run 15 min every 3 hours (instead of every 6) to keep the exhaust/air circulation going and keep the tent an even temp. Hopefully that will chill out plant #3 who seems slightly heat stressed.
Day 10 - (1/17/21) Watered with calimagic. Plant #3 seems less stressed. The temp seems a little low (right around 70 degrees) but I believe Indicas like the cooler temps? I'll keep an eye on them.
Day 12 - (1/19/21) Watered with nutrients for the first time! I'm using the General Hydroponics Flora series following a slightly modified schedule for coco from groweedeasy. I will be alternating my nutrient water with plain PH'd watering every other watering. Also going forward I will be sticking to watering every other day since I am still not 100% on when coco needs watering and you supposedly can't overwater coco. I am being lazy and not removing my runoff since it seems to evaporate within a day. If this seems to be causing issues, I'll probably buy a small pump to remove it.
Day 14 - (1/21/21) Started to get seriously worried about nutrient deficiencies in all plants because of yellow/lighter green along the edges of the oldest leaves. I don't think I gave them their first nutrients early enough and I should have been giving them water with calimagic more, not plain water. I also wasn't playing enough attention to the water line on my water sprayer and was diluting everything too much. Watered them with calimagic today (2 tsp in EXACTLY 2 gallons of water). Also got a 300ml syringe to remove the majority of the runoff water after watering.

ecandeedz711 Day 15 - (1/22/21) Watered with the remaining water with calimagic in my sprayer from yesterday to try to boost their calcium & magnesium. As I said in last week's diary, I definitely was not giving them enough calimagic and waited too long to give them their nutrients. Lesson learned and they are already looking better!
Day 16 - (1/23/21) forgot to take pics oops!
Day 17 - (1/24/21) Watered with nutrients. Also increased the length of time the humidifier runs since its been extra cold the last few days and our furnace is drying the whole house out.
Day 19 - (1/26/21) Watered with calimagic. I think I'm overwatering a bit but I'm trying my best to get these guys caught up on their calmag. Also checked the run off ppm and ph for the first time; 1300ppm and approx 6.2 ph across all 3 plants. PPM seems high but I didn't check what it was when I watered with nutrients on Sunday. PH hasn't changed at all which is a good sign.
Day 20 - (1/27/21) Watered with calimagic. Did some more research last night and it seems like it's okay to water them with nutrients every day. I will probably start doing that tomorrow morning. I also started misting the plants with calimagic water since they can absorb calcium through their leaves. The runoff ppm is still high but I'm not worrying about it since it doesn't seem to be a huge deal.
Day 21 - (1/28/21) Watered with nutrients, approx 620 ppm. I decided to water them until their runoff was only around 300 ppm more than the nutrient water (less than 1000 ppm). My first check of the runoff was around 1300ppm and it took approx an extra 1/3 gallon of nutrient water to get all plants below 1000ppm. Also, they are starting to smell a bit especially when I manhandle them.

ecandeedz711 Day 22 - (1/29/21) Watered with nutrients. Seems like they are finally getting thirsty. I needed almost 2 gallons between the 3 of them. Officially decided against topping today since they have been having some nutrient deficiency issues. Instead I'm going to be extra diligent with the LST and keeping the plants even. Today I bent over the main stem of all 3 plants and tied them to the side of the fabric pots. I bent them all away from the light to make sure the new growth had the best exposure possible. Looking forward to seeing how they do!
Day 23 - (1/30/21) Watered with nutrients. Used some garden wire to pin down some of the larger leaves that have blocked the new growth.
Day 24 - (1/31/21) Watered with nutrients. Adjusted all my LST wires and pinned down more leaves. I'm definitely getting more confident with the LST as the plants are getting more robust and less nutrient deficient. Really happy with all the new growth!
Day 25-28 - (1/31/21-2/4/21) Watered with nutrients every day. Adjusted LST wires and defoliated the older leaves and a few fan leaves that were really in the way of new growth. I accidentally broke off two stems on plant #3 :( Now I know how delicate they are and not to force them until the stems are a bit longer. I think I could definitely defoliate some more but I'm a bit nervous to overdo it. I'll probably let them stay bushy for a while. I think the next week we should be going into flowering?? At least according to some other diaries for this strain. BTW all my daily pics are right after I've watered and trained them so they look very droopy haha. Every morning they look very perky and bushy!

ecandeedz711 Day 29 - (2/5/21) Watered with nutrients. I removed the wiring from the main stem and the wiring pinning down the fan leaves. I want to make sure I'm not accidentally stunting them but I'm going to keep training the new stems. They really exploded in growth this past week and I want them to be happy bushy indicas! I have my LED turned all the way up to 100% now. A few leaves seem to have some issues but overall they look much better than two weeks ago so I'm going to continue on my nutrient schedule. Also removed the basil from the tent and will be adding a second fan tomorrow because I am getting concerned about airflow.
Day 30 - (2/6/21) Watered with nutrients. Adjusted LST stems and pinned some fan leaves to the main stem.
Day 31-32 - (2/7/21-2/8/21) Watered with nutrients. Adjusted LST stems
Day 33 - (2/9/21) Watered with nutrients. Adjusted LST stems to pin them to the sides of the pots; 4 stems from each plant. I'm really happy with the growth and how they've been filling out their pots. Also they've officially been named! From left to right, they are Darla, JoJo and Jules.
Day 34-35 - (2/10/21-2/11/21) Watered with nutrients. Adjusted LST stems, bent down some fan leaves

ecandeedz711 Day 36-40 - (2/11/21-2/16/21) Watered with nutrients. Adjusted LST stems, defoliated some fan leaves
Day 41 - (2/17/21) Watered with nutrients. Unfortunately my fan fell off the new stand this morning and fell on Jules and broke off a stem. :( It was still partially attached so I tried to reattach it but it was smooshed by the fan for over 2 hours so it did not survive.
Day 42 (2/18/21) Watered with nutrients. Adjusted LST stems, defoliated some fan leaves. Wrapping up this week I am slightly concerned I defoliated too much but I'm sure its fine haha. Jules is definitely the furthest along and has lots of pistils forming on her bud sites. The other two plants seem a few days behind her. She is the closest to the heater so makes sense!
