(Bert) the bigger of the two had came out of the soil first, and had the longest root after germination. (Ernie) the second and smallest one didn't take much longer, and basically caught up to Bert. After transplant Ernie lost most of its roots, and didn't grow for 2 weeks while Bert had exponential growth. Ernie still hasn't fully caught up to Bert horizontally in flower, but vertically are very similar.
I also sprayed them but didn't wet their soil to much. Bert had a lot more success through out the grow even having a thicker stem right from the beginning.
these are both picture of Bert as Ernie is having trouble and is not ready for the low stress training. Bert seemed to really take off after bending the middle down. they have also both been topped at this point.
The smaller picture is Ernie this is just after he was revived from losing most of his roots. Bert completely dominated in this time especially cause i couldn't do much with Ernie. Ernie was also getting about a liter less water and was in a different type of soil that felt like clay.
also stopped the high stress training and now have a netting on both plants they have been slightly put into the netting but I have given them time to stretch up.
they have almost stopped growing vertically but are a nice height at this point. buds have grown all throughout the plant. I took off some dying leaves and branches that where left useless then trimmed completely with very small buds up to 2 inches below the screen.
Ernie is going to likely be much stronger, with less buds. Ernie smells crazy strong, is very greasy, and shines a very vibrant blue with flash on. without the camera flash I can still see some overall blue to the plant much more the Bert. I took the ScrOG off to see what the plant would do no buds fell of but damn I see why its not a good idea. The plants do smell much stronger 2 days since the ScrOG came off and have continued to increase their smell and trichome length.
kept growing out the smaller buds for two weeks after. got quiet a different taste from the different harvests
technically harvested three times just cause I'm by myself. the smaller plant tasted slightly different
and the later harvests had more of a chocolate taste and diesel if grown too long. the plants came to 140 grams. i would say the bigger on (Bert) had about 20 grams on the other plant though.👍
@Smokwiri, @Ferenc, thanks guys you're too kind, I'm quite new to growing so they're not that great, but it's nice to see all the support. good luck with your 2021 harvests. :)
