meneerGreen I use the coffee filter method to germinate the seed(s), and that gives me the best results. The Omnipotent nutrients (no longer available) are in powder form and are measured per gram, so I add enough until I reach the right EC. I can't choose that option, so I indicate how much nutrients they get each time (EC).😶 Here’s some information about these nutrients, Omnipotent Base 2.5kg The base nutrient from Omnipotent is a very broad plant nutrient in powder form that has a regulating effect on the pH of tap water. The nutrient has an NPK ratio of 13-07-21 and is supplemented with extras like 5CaO and 2MgO and trace elements that ensure good nutrient absorption. The solid foundation of this nutrient also ensures that it can be used on any medium. Even in a hydroponic setup with very soft water, the plants will receive sufficient nutrients and no deficiencies will occur. Omnipotent plant nutrients are very suitable for peppers, chili peppers, and tomatoes. Good results are also achieved with fuchsias and other annual plants. For certain life stages of the plant, additional nutrients can be chosen as needed. Instructions for Omnipotent base: For slow-growing plants or plants in a nitrogen-poor substrate, you can opt for Omnipotent Growth (pure nitrogen) as a supplement. Omnipotent Bloom (pure PK) can be given as a supplement to the base nutrient to prepare the plants for a prosperous and abundant flowering. Dosage of Omnipotent base: 1 gram of powder raises the EC of tap water by 1 point. When the tap water has an EC of 0.4 and you add 1 gram of Omnipotent base, the EC will be 1.4. When you start using one of the supplements, reduce the amount of base nutrients by the amount of the added product. We recommend not replacing more than 1/3 of the base nutrients with a supplement. Omnipotent Growth 100ml Omnipotent Growth is made from pure nitrogen. This is a very powerful liquid to raise the N (nitrogen) level in the base nutrient for optimal plant growth. This nitrogen fertilizer is highly concentrated and can be considered a growth booster. Pure nitrogen has an NPK ratio of 19-00-00. Due to the high content of active nutrients, it is NOT recommended to give this nutrient to plant species that already have abundant growth on their own. For such types of plants, the base nutrient is sufficient. Instructions for Omnipotent Growth: This liquid serves as a supplement to the base nutrient Omnipotent base. Give this nutrient during the growth phase and at the beginning of the flowering phase to meet the plant's increased nitrogen demand. When pure nitrogen is added to the base nutrient as a supplement, reduce the dosage of the base nutrient by 1/3. Fill this 1/3 with pure nitrogen so that you will reach the same EC. So that’s 2/3 base nutrient + 1/3 pure nitrogen, giving an NPK ratio of 14.3-4.6-15.3. Generally, it can be assumed that 1 gram of nutrients per liter will raise the EC by 1 point. So when the tap water has an EC of 0.4 and you add 1 gram per liter, the total EC will be 1.4. Omnipotent Bloom 100gr: Omnipotent Bloom has a very powerful composition in powder form to raise the PK level for flowering plants. With an NPK ratio of 0-25-34, which is very high, this can be considered one of the most powerful bloom boosters on the market. The fruits of your plant will develop extra quickly due to the high content of the right nutrients. Omnipotent Bloom should always be given together with the Omnipotent base. Only give this bloom booster as a supplement to the base nutrient when the first signs of flowering have been observed (usually week 3 of flowering). The substrate and the plant receive a boost from Omnipotent Bloom, ensuring they have sufficient nutrients until the end of flowering. Instructions for Omnipotent Bloom: When you add the PK booster to the base nutrient, reduce the dosage of the base nutrient by 1/3. Fill this 1/3 with the PK booster so that you will reach the same EC. So that’s 2/3 Omnipotent base + 1/3 PK gives an NPK ratio of 08-22-26.6. For most plant species, an EC of 1.8 is ideal; with this nutrient formula, that is 1.8 grams of nutrients per liter of water. Do keep in mind the EC of the tap water. August 15, took the seed out of the fridge where I’ve stored it, letting it acclimate for 24 hours before I germinate it. August 16, placed 1 x Hvy Weight for germination using the coffee filter method, did this in the evening. I’m going for the scrog method again this time as always due to the limited height in the bucket. As medium, I mixed Plagron light mix with super mix also from Plagron, ratio 0.5 liters of super mix to 15 liters of light mix, they will go into this after the pre-growth period. I will use Omnipotent again for nutrients, along with Fulvic and Humic acid. Now that the seed is germinating, I have the opportunity to clean the bucket and make some adjustments; in this case, I just made the chains a bit longer so that the pot doesn’t have to sit on a riser at the beginning, which was a bit annoying to me. August 18, at 9 AM, I potted/seeded the Hvy Weight in a small pot, going to let it pre-grow first, the little root at planting was about 2 to 3 mm; normally I would let it grow a bit longer, but I’ve heard from various sources that as soon as a root is visible, it should be potted right away, so we’ll test that out. Since the bucket is empty, I’m pre-growing in the bucket; I’ll keep the light off until I see something above ground, they are pre-growing in Plagron light mix. August 20, set to 18/6 schedule, suddenly stood about 3 cm above ground today, added a bit of soil. (I left some space in the pot specifically for that). Temperature 31 to 25 (light on, light off) RH 60 to 54% (highest, lowest). P.S. These are extreme values; the average temperature and humidity lie somewhere between these two values; in some cases, these values only occur once during the week.

EC: 0.4 (tap water) pH: 6.0 I have the lamp set to 100%, which corresponds to 48 watts. This will stay the same, as the tent is in the same room and it gets a bit warm. I will try to lower it a bit, but I can live with around 30 degrees; although, I would prefer it a bit lower, around 27 to 28 degrees would be nice. They aren't getting nutrients yet because there’s enough food in the light mix for about 3 weeks. They are getting a little water with the spray bottle.

EC: 1.0, from 25-10 EC 1.2 pH: 6.1 from 25-10 pH 6.0 Today (25-10) started with flowering nutrients EC 1.2, pH 6.0 which will probably rise a bit, it usually does, they will get this for at least one week, could be a bit longer, depends on how fast the bucket is emptying (10 liters) don’t throw anything away. I just switched them to 12/12 last week but they already have clearly visible flowering, I personally think that’s really fast, on 26-10 raised the lamp a bit to 15 cm, also forgot to turn on the extractor after raising the lamp so the RH spiked to 78%, luckily I noticed it quickly.😏

EC: 1.4 pH: 6.2 This week I hung the lamp at 13 cm, also prepared a new bucket of nutrients (10 liters) with an EC of 1.4 and a pH of 6.2, haven't seen any deficiencies so we're sticking with this ratio for now. I prepare 10 liters each time so I only have to make new nutrients once a week, and this way I can adjust the nutrients if needed and keep the pH from rising too much, as it tends to increase a few points over a few days. So, I set the pH at 6.0 to 6.2 when preparing, so it doesn't go higher than 6.5 to 6.6 during that week.

EC: 1.4 pH: 6.2 On 21-11, prepared a new bucket of nutrients with the above values, not much else to report, thought for a moment they were going to get amber trichomes but after a better inspection, thankfully it was a false alarm, the flowering hairs are already turning brown and the leaves are starting to change to autumn colors, so the final battle has begun, but I hope it lasts a few more weeks.

EC: 1.4 pH: 6.2 Also this week, I prepared a new bucket of nutrients of 10 liters, EC 1.4, pH 6.2, which the 80 x 80 tent (2 plants) is also drinking. Furthermore, the buds aren't really getting much thicker, at least I don't see it that way, the flowering hairs are getting browner and the trichomes are becoming more milky, so they are actually on track. The leaves are also starting to turn more yellow, so the end is in sight. In the meantime, I've put a Super Silver Haze to germinate for the next round.

meneerGreen And now for the dry weight (drumroll): Buds: 88 grams Trim waste and fluffy stuff: 25 grams Total 113 grams which gives a nice result of 2.3 and a half grams per watt. I’m curing with 62% Humidipak(s), humidity at the time of weighing was 61% so very nice. And now continuing to cure in the CVault in a cool place.
