Day 1
After 5 days of germination time, I got action!
So I planted my sprouts plugs into 1 gallon pots. The pot were filled with promix hp that I pre moistened with ph balanced water. Now It's time for these ladies to stretch their legs. Forming a solid root structre to support the rapid growth of a cannabis plant. Their main focus will be below soil for the first few days. My main focus will be a solid wet to dry cycle for these ladies to really thrive! Their needs are very minimal and easy going at this point. Too much or too little water is really the only non environmental factor that can lead this to a poor start. So I'm going to have to be on point lol.
Only one outta the 2 beans has sprouted so far. The other will likely break the surface in the next day or so. I will update the germination week when it sprouts. Also I will do a update on this grow week as well.
Day 2
The other bean sprouted so got both going now! She got planted into a 1 gallon pot same as her sister. The first to sprout is doing great! Very green, vibrant, and healthy. Just what I like to see. The newer sprout is getting settled. I will post pics of the new one for tomorrow.
Day 5
Unfortunately the second sprout didnt take for some reason.... failure to thrive. The original sprout though is booming. I gave her a micro feed today and she responded wonderfully! Breaking her in gently lol.
@SpliffSeeds,Variety gets super hungry peak bloom! But shes looking sexy. Stellar genetics fam. If I had another bean of this. I'd definitely be soaking it already lmfao 💪.
Hello. I would say the problem with the second sprout was caused by germination in the Rockwool cube, it's OK but any seed problem and it won't cope because it's all matted together. I would suggest you use the EazyPlug, it will automatically wick up the correct amount of water, I put them in dry with the pointy end down about 2 mm below the surface and then put a tiny crumb of the plug over the hole. Then put them in a bowl with saucer on top so you can keep it anywhere because it's already dark. 100% guaranteed to sprout if the seed is good, and the eazyplug is the texture of a chocolate muffin so it has some give in it while at the same time keeping a nice perfect environment for the early roots while it gets established. You see what can happen with the Rockwool cubes is if the seedling gets knocked or caused to move a bit then because the rockwool doesn't give that's when the roots get damaged and the seedling will not 'take'. as happened to you. That's my take on the situation.
@4F1M6, Respect. Nevertheless what I say about the plugs are true too! I'd never go back to rockwool, I use these in my clay pebble hydro, but they're even better in soil as they eventually become part of the soil, plus there is something very satisfying in not soaking a bean and simply planting straight into a plug which is then easily handled.
@@Freddd, The second seedling had nothing to do with the plug. The tap root was extended out atleast a inch and a half out of the bottom of the plug. Sowed into pre moistened medium to avoid compaction and damage to the tap root. It came up yellow and never really started up... eventually just dropped. Could have been bacteria, fungai, pathogen in the soil mix. I could have kept it to moist leading to it damping off(which I doubt but is plausible). Or it just failed to thrive which also exists. Even human offspring can fail to thrive. Leading to death in the womb or a infant thats behind in development. Respect your opinion and ur willingness to help. But imo that was not the case. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
@Secretflower,Thx fam appreciate that! Amnesiac never disappoints. I have 3 photo fem running aswell right now. Its absolute 🔥. Happy growing and stay lit fam.
