Had a root aphids invasion. It seems they were the ones responsible for the deficient growth on the weaker pheno. They starting reaching the other one that was super healthy and I had to try to eliminate them. I read online that the roots needed a soap bath to drown the fkers. I did so and the weaker pheno looks healthier than before though I'm not sure root aphids were eliminated. I also noticed its roots have darkened probably as a consequence to the attack so it will probably never be as good for taking nutrients.
The healthy pheno, unfortunately, did not seem to like the soap bath and has been wilted for 4 days now. Many leaves have died and I'm not sure if it will recover.
I have ordered pyrethrin and The Amazing Dr. Zymes to treat to get rid of the aphids once and for all. Will probably apply the treatment on the weaker pheno and only in the bigger one if it gets better.
@KennyRogers, I’m sorry that your hydroponic didn’t work out for you. I’m just confused as to why you would grow outdoors with hydroponics. The whole reason for hydroponics is controlled environment. You keep it out, you’re exposing every thing and I’m not even sure what you used on your net pot. It looks like peat moss or coco coir but I wouldn’t do that. Also neem oil helps before the aphids travel down to your roots. You got infested because they like moist environment and they had direct access to your stems. Your net pot looks moist as hell. That attracts bugs on top of dead plant matter from the bottom of the plants will attract it. It would’ve helped if you had a greenhouse or cover. Also hydroguard doesn’t help with physical infestation. It only helps with fungus symbiotic growth. If you do it again, next time, grow indoors and use grow stones like hydroton or actual grow stones
