Not much excitement yet. Due to covid I have had issues with coco delivery so have been forced to pot into 1L pots until my coco finally turns up. I'm intrested to see how this will affect the plants in comparison to other diaries.
I have so far watered twice, around 50ml each time. Im waiting until the coco completely dries out. No nutrients or suppliments yet.
Some good news! I finally got my shop order, the bad news? We ain't quite developed enough to transplant yet.
I have slowly started introducing feed. I add mega crop to 350ppm then add rhizotonic to 500ppm. My first feed was around 100ml and it dried within 2 days, my second feed I opted to fill till run off and it dried within 3 days. I suspect once it dries from its feed today we will be about ready to get them into their final boots.
Another week in. I believe I may have stunted the plants pretty badly with starting them out in 1L pots. This was unavoidable however lessons have been learnt. The plants have now been transplanted into their fabric pots which I fear may have stressed them into early flower. I have switched the metal halide bulb out for my HPS for the meantime and we will see how we get on.
Things seem to be much happier in the tent this week. I added a circulation fan which seems to have dramatically helped. Within 24 hours of adding it my plants were flourishing. I didn't think I needed one as my extraction is extremely overpowered. Another thing which makes me believe the circulation fan is what's making the difference is I have developed 2 runts on the right hand side of the tank. They aren't horrendous but they are noticeably smaller than the plants on the opposite side which are in the fans direction.
I have now put in place the dripper system and filled the tank to 1.4 ec. Come Tuesday morning I checked the tank and it had risen to EC 2.0, I have readjusted to 1.0 and will see how it goes.
After resetting the EC to 1.0 its went to 1.2 then stayed there consistently until the tank needed refilled. I noticed a couple of plants had developed a little nute burn so I lowered the EC again to 0.8 which went up to 1.0 and stayed steady. Everything seems to be booming this, even the 3 smaller ones seem to be picking up pace. I suspect these 3 are around a week behind the others as they are just beginning to display preflowers.
The bungie at the back of the tent is 60cm from the top of the pots.
An exciting week has come to an end. Everything has come on so much within the past 7 days. I was concerned about having used 1L pots for the first almost 3 weeks however it seems to have only have affected 2 plants now which just appear to be a week maybe 2 behind the others.
As the title suggests she's now getting Tight. Later this evening I'm going to add a fan under the canopy to ensure airs getting around where it needs to be.
