This strain is so strong. I've had some problems with light and humidity but the plants were strong enough to resist. I think this is one of my favorite strain. Thanks Humboldt! Good job!
@eezeegrow Best of luck, I've grown in exactly the same dwc, have upgraded now to an 80l dwc system with collar feed.
Just to let you know, your lids are upside down, and make sure the water is only just touching the netty pot or root rot can be real. I've grown in all mediums and love Hydro as its the best in my situation but also the most difficult.
Any questions just drop me a message and I can try but I'll be learning off you too.
@Excalibur, I think that this two babies will follow Crop, ScrOG and LST like tho others. I'm testing another receipt for nutrients, but I'll use Ghe nutrients as usual.
@Excalibur, Thanks for the post.
I know the lids are upside-down now they're ok) but is just in the first 3 or 4 days to let the short roots reach the water.
I'll update the diary today.
DWC when don't correct is a very edge give way to grow :)
Thank you for deciding to document your HSO/DWC adventure in this beautiful platform :)
Your off to a great start and needless to say I'll be along for the ride and watching with interest mate :)
Best wishes for this grow and I'll drop back in on the next update to check progress out :)
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
I have to say, your flowers look Amazing!! You are doing a great job. I am a newbie and only the jewelers loop or similar will tell you if they are ready, that said, it still looks like a ton of white pistils popping out so if I had to guess I would say wait at least 1 more week (possibly 2). When are you planning on flushing her out?
I'm not a pro but I think you only can see if the trichomes are ready with a microscope or a good magnifying glass. Personally I would give them a few days. Patience is important.
@BucketBrigade, They look great don't they mate :)
And this is only half way into the flower stage so these buds are no where near what they will be come harvest time :)
Kind regards
Team-HSO...
Did you get here just by LST at this stage, or did you actually cut any of the plant? Just wondering as I hope mine ends up looking good as this in DWC
Lovely lst work. Opening up the plant canopy even more allowing for much more light distribution to those lower branches ;)
Really nice work my friend ;)
Keep it up and I'll check back in on the next update ;)
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
@Humboldt_Seed_Organisation, Thanks for the tip.
I've looked at the flowers with a digital microscope and a lot of trichomes are white (like milk). I thint 1 or two week maximum will be ok.
If I can do a nice photos of the trichomes I'll put on this diary.
Many thanks guys! π
@eezeegrow, you need a 30-60x loupe/scope mate that way you will be able to view those glandular trichome heads much better to determine optimal harvest window :)
Our Amherst sour diesel tends to be finished in 63-70 days (week 9-10) as you are at week 7 I would say they still have a minimum of 2 weeks maybe 3 before you reach peak harvest conditions ;)
Looking fantastic and not long now my friend :)
Thank you as always for the diary update and added pictures very much appreciated!
Kind regards
Team-HSO..
@eezeegrow,check them every one or two days , some strains turn in days some strain turn really slowly like weeks
On one of my girls I missed the time and screwed up with flushing

So glad you caught that lighting error mate this could have turned out not so good π
3 days of 24 hour light is not good but by the sound of things no harm has been caused π
Going of the picture's I 100% agree. 14 more days will be perfect and will see this grow completed π
Your in the final weeks now and those flowers look amazing π₯
Keep the updates coming my friend as that harvest approaches π
