1st time

I was reading a lot and phrases like "sterile growing environment" is not exactly my thing. I need to learn how to grow as nature does. So I have started experimenting straight away. Got some bugs- pill/saw bugs, some sort of centipede and worms :) I know bugs might be a threat to my plant, but in reality- the amount of leaves that get damaged by bugs in comparison to defoliation is 0.05% or so. I was concerned at the beginning, trust me. but i did worked out great. I have a belief, that plants needs to feel other different live creatures around them to keep them happy. Of course you need to feed the bugs- some apples some leaves from defoliation and all good. Pests wise i had some fungus gnats as most of them, but yellow sticky pads does the trick. spider mites.... yes, i had them too... at first i had some lady bugs, problem is-they fly up to the ceiling bang their heads into it and fall onto the lights... and get fried very quickly :( so spider mites wise i got some rubbing alcohol mixed it up with the water and with ear buds have kept cleaning them. :) if you keep an eye on the plants infestation doesn't happen. I had collected decomposed wood, leaves, some mud from the canal and the swamp as well as some fungus as you can see in the pictures. Have started to experimenting with ferrite ring magnets- will see the updates in my second diary which will start within a week from now. Nutrients wise- nothing from the shop except medical grade epsom salt.
