Wanted to fully cure and smoke a fair it before I reviewed. Super frosty and very productive plants. The aroma and taste could be a little stronger, but that might be the indoor/hydro aspect. Strong pain relief and physical relaxing effects, true to form it does not have that couch lock effect (although I did harvest slightly early as I do not like really knock out indicas). It did unfortunately lend itself to an introspective mood which could sometimes make me melancholic; its not a social strain.

It did unfortunately lend itself to an introspective mood which could sometimes make me melancholic; its not a social strain. The slight hermie issue I had early on in early flower has only resulted in about 5 seeds across 300 grams. I conclude now the stress was due to excessive floral booster in the nutrient mix. My mate decreed this the best weed he has ever had, so he likes it. However, it is probably a little too on the indica side of stuff for my preference. Glad I grew, but probably won't grow again.

sounds like a true hermie, coming from genes, not stress. It'll throw out and grow balls whatever you do.You can remove balls by hand but there will still be a lot of bananas or sacs that can't be reached.Up to you mate, toss it or keep it but you'll most likely have seeds off other plants too.Quality won't diminish hugely but this one looks like a bad genetic. This is why I hate barneys.I've had stupidly non sense plants from them.Commercial breeders always do this.Mix crap seeds with healthy ones and sell.I'm avoiding barneys.Just keep in mind.

@HighRoller909, thanks mate I appreciate your quick reply. Knowing that it's genetic and not stress related makes me feel better about my gardening haha. But still, I will remove it - I'd rather 4 plants without seeds than 5 plants with seeds.

Did you flower those in the 5.5 to 6.0 ph range? Just wondering as most people flower at 6.0 to 6.5 ph.

GMSgrowscommented3 years ago
@sloppyjohn, your ph range is 5.5 to 6.0 for veg and 6.0 to 6.5 in flower. The higher ph in flower allows for better p and k absorption 6.0 to 6.5 in veg of 5.5 to 5.8 allows for better N uptake. Plants don't need much N in flower. It will pull from the leaves if it needs more N.

@GMSgrows, yeah I did. The literature I read did say to keep it at 5.2-6.2 the whole way through in hydro. What does raising the pH do in flowering?

nice you should fully cure over at least 3 weeks. and then see the high will change it wont turn you melancholic anymore. its because your weed isnt matured enough.
