Ladies are doing really well and I am switching to bloom cycle 12/12 on Feb 12, 2021.
One of the lines going into the auto valves was dry, the others were fine. This is because I let the reservoir empty and the one valve that was dry was the first one where the water goes to. I didn’t realize the plants were feeding so much as I didn’t check on the plants until later that day. Things are back to normal but I think I screwed up on one plant in regards to the gold disk on the bottom of plant to stop roots from growing to the valve. I think I put the disk on the outside of the plant box where the water is. Next time I will switch the disk to inside the pot. D’oh!!
@@Charliepugdog,thanks for the offer of help. I may rely on you for sure. I may have to flip to 12/12 before week 8 as the plants rebound very fast like in a day or so. Suggestion on this? Plants are now 14 inches now. Was going to wait until 18-20 inches.
@@Charliepugdog,thanks bud. So far so good with this autopot system. Girls are drinking really well and growing awesome specially with the Air Domes. Rebound when mainlining went better than usual too!
@Medifarmer, AutoPots has oxygen going to the roots. It is made to do this and it’s called Air Dome. Her is a little something from the AutoPot web site on it: The AirDome is the perfect accessory to gardeners of all abilities. It has been designed to increase the amount of air around the root zone in plant pots.
If you are lucky enough to have power in your greenhouse or polytunnel this little addition can increase yields by up to 130%. It is very simple to use once assembled, which will take less than 30 seconds. The AirDome is placed at the bottom of the pot, covered with compost and then connected to an air pump. Oxygen is then supplied directly to the plants’ root zone, improving crop development and ensuring maximum growth.
Just YouTube air dome installation and you will find how to install.
@Igrowneil, I usd them once only right now but I am going to use them again. The only problem I had, well not any real problem but the roots did get into the area where the water comes in. The system also builds up crap from the chemicals on the side of the reservoir. The lines can be cleaned but that’s a pain in the arse so I’m just replacing the lines since the tubing isn’t that expensive. I did not post my yield but the BC big bud, I would grow again and I got a hell of a lot of bud from my 4 plants that I am allowed in Canada. I am about to do my new grow and it is going to be BC big bud again. Everyone that has it enjoys it and they keep on asking for more! Cheers
@OrganicCannabisConnoisseur, I am really happy with the growth and rebound for BC Big Bud. Main lining did not affect the plant at all as long as you go slow and do not prune too much. I will definitely grow this strain again. Out of all the plants I’m growing this one is the best strain.
