Attempted to lower light to see how the plants would respond and noticed this morning that the Northern Lights edges were beginning to curve up. I raised the light back up, not quite ready for that yet I guess. Soil is holding moisture very well. Both plants seem to be relatively healthy and Im proud that I've gotten this far with messing anything up. Been watering .25/gal each based on moisture of the soil, about every 3-4 days. Recharge once a week. Day 18 update- CBD is exploding! Decided to start LST today.

I have started LST on both plants and both seem to respond super fast to it. Super cool! Today I noticed that my Northern Lights was droopy and had a tip curling down. Decided to give both plants .5/gal of water plus recharge each. Hope that was the correct action to take..

CBD Crack is taking off and getting ready to flower, this will probably be the last week of of considering it still in vegetation. Today I gave it 3/4 cup of BAS Craft Blend Nutrients and worm castings as a topdressing. Northern Lights is only a day behind the CBD Crack but for some reason it doesn't want to grow as big as its sister, I don't know what the issue is with that one. Maybe a bad seed?

Plants have taken off! CBD Crack has some very pretty bud sites growing right now and Northern Lights has exploded and starting to pre-flower and stretch. I just ordered Buildasoil's BuildaBloom and will start adding that once a week.

Well the plants are doing their thing, and doing it good. CBD Crack has stopped stretching and is getting real thick buds, it's also starting to get some light frost. The Northern Lights has stretched so much that I had to move my lights up to keep them from getting light/heat stress. NL is starting to go into full flower mode and I'm hoping it fills in these long stems it grew out. I am now feeding them Buildabloom once a week along with Recharge. Things are looking good!

CBD Crack is really starting to bulk up and smell delicious, getting fruity notes from it. Pistils are starting to turn orange. Northern Lights is flowering more and starting to fill in... this could turn into an epic plant for my first time ever growing. Main cola/stem continues to grow and stretch, I've had to raise my light so much that I had to put the CBD Crack plant on a milk crate to makeup for light being raised. CBD Crack is definitely going to be finished well before the Northern Lights.

Chugging along. Northern Lights is taking it sweet time to bulk up and flower on its extremely long stems. CBD Crack isn't really growing anymore and either Im dealing with an PH/watering issue with the plant or its just fading as we are coming towards the end of its life. Still seeing some clear trichomes as well as cloudy but no amber yet, pistils are still turning orange but still have a large amount of white ones.

Fading or problem? Looks like fading from far away but upclose it looks different. CBD Crack Day 56, Buildasoil LOS 3.0, Recharge & Buildabloom (once a week).

Hi there,Plants are less defensive during flowering stage and they are using all the energies for bud production. They will show heat stress( mostly if temp is above 25C or intense heat at buds, hot spot heat stress)and might show some symptoms or leaves discoloration(may be different from strain to strain. As long as I can keep my substrate pH in proper range and proper feed, I will not worry a bit about those symptoms and discoloration). All I would do is making her as comfortable as I can until harvest and focus on buds for pests, mold or rot.Happy growing... ✌️

CBD Crack is winding down as I see majority of milky trichomes and very few amber. I anticipate harvesting sometime next week. Northern Lights continues in beast mode and is packin and stackin buds. I am noticing what looks like a nitrogen deficiency appear on the bottom leaves and I am currently brewing a nutrients tea that I will feed tomorrow. This plant is a monster and I have to keep raise my lights to accommodate its beastliness. I see a big harvest in my future....

Yellow leaves started at the bottom and are making their way up. Also noticing bud leaves are turning a lighter more lime green. Yellow leaves end up shriveling up and falling off some have brown splotches. Approaching Day 70 and don't know what I need to do to fix this.

Hey Growmie, With the plant being so far along, I would say this is the plant's way of telling you that she's finishing up, this type of fading is normal as the plant uses all the nutrients left in the fan leaves for bud production, so they begin to fade. Hopefully, this was helpful, and remember ..." Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time".

I should be harvesting the CBD Crack within this next week. I'm checking trichomes everyday waiting for more amber to show up. Currently they are look really frosty and the buds continue to look like they are swelling. Plant is still taking up water at a normal rate. We are getting very close to our chop date :) Northern Lights is just putting everything it has into bulking up her colas. As long as I dont screw anything up, we are on track for the hefty harvest... I'm assuming that i'm still ATLEAST 2 weeks out if not longer.

My first harvest! I will update more after the dry, trim and cure but overall it was a good beginner run for me! Drying room smells so good right now! Update: Ended up with 2 oz. Very happy with the end results. Its now in a jar and starting the curing process. Can't wait to try it.

Still patiently waiting.....100 days coming up here at the end of the week and I would like to think i'm getting towards the end of her life. Im noticing alot of foxtailing going on and I'm wondering if its a genetic trait over an environmental issue. Figured if it was just light intensity I wouldn't be seeing it all over the plant. Maybe foxtail then swell then harvest? Who knows but I anxiously await the end.... The smell of this plant is refreshing, citrus pine. Going to with plain ph'd water from here on out.

Unfortunatly after my last post I found nanners growing on two different spots of the plants. Instead of risking something happening to my other plant babies I pulled the Northern Lights and harvested this morning. I will update when I have dry weight totals. Kinda bummed out about this but it was my first time growing and I still will end up with a good yield and if the buds aren't up to my standards, I will be making bubble hash. 124 grams total. Split it in half, one half for curing and the other for bubble hash.

That is not fox tailing that is a Genetic defect. I grew a cbd 1:1 auto last year that turned out like this. I also thought fox tailing but I found out it's mutation called stringy Cannabis. It was harder to harvest. But the taste and smell were normal and effect was not affected. Good luck.
the end.
