Definitely should have got another humidifier for that little two in one side. I've since tore that divider out and I love the shelf and space for equipment
Starting this week and for the next week I proceed to drown them. This may actually have started in week 4. I was keeping them small as I had no idea where I was going to go with them that side of the tent was a bit cramped and unaccessible.
So my sourjack will be my second grow, first from seed. I've got four ladies that I'll be cutting down in the next few days to a week. So a few issues and stunts on these girls with a less than desirable environment and here we are starting week 8 from seed. Ikr.. I actually saved them from root rot and amended soil I inadvertently flushed..It worked out though because I didn't have a propper veg tent setup. So, first week on here. It's been excellent, I got them out of the one gallon plastic pots and roots organic soil. Hit em with some great white and got them into some Tupar coco and 3 gallon fabric pots for beginners who love water...
Just found this site and I love it! So my sourjack will be my second grow, first from seed. I've got four ladies that I'll be cutting down in the next few days to a week. So a few issues and stunts on these girls with a less than desirable environment and here we are starting week 8 from seed. Ikr.. I actually saved them from root rot...It worked out though because I didn't have a propper veg tent setup. So, first week on here. It's been excellent, I got them out of the one gallon plastic pots and roots organic soil. Hit em with some great white and got them into some Tupar coco. They were looking good and healthy so I bent their tops down to get the side shoots up 2 days ago.
Awesome week got the fabric autopot xl with the 25 gallon rez added a circulation pump and an air stone. Sprung for the airdomes and a big pump to back em. Just before I made the switch I put the harmon Karon in there and have been playing violin sonatas by Sebastián Bach. I sh!t you not they all started praying the same day even the lower leaves. Zero droop when I transplanted into the autopots and last night I did a lollipop style trim out to get that top growth back into action. And today all my ladies are still praying! Super excited to see what this coco/perlite/expanded clay/Frankenstein dwc method is going to do. Seriously contemplating a co2 setup.
Just transplanted them into the autopots with the air domes and in 9 days they blew up. They took 20 gallons out of the rez in 9 days so I drained it cleaned it out and filled it with bloom nutes. I'm blown away, between these autopots and playing bach violin sonatas they just came alive praying hard every day.
First week down, they drank 16 gallons out of the 25 gallon rez. Running the air domes on a big pump. nice even stretch on the canopy. The girls are throwing out massive shades and they're praying daily. I'm in love with Mary Jane!
Just cleaned and refilled the rez 23 gallons
Bumped the ppm upto 793 from 690
Decided to use my bloom for soil as it's 1 less nitrogen and bumped my cal mag up a ml per gallon. Noticed yellow veins but I'm assuming during stretch your going to see it run low? So for the next week they should get all they need. Defoliated some large fan leaves not a large amount but a couple fists full off the four sour jack.
Finished up the stretch, dutch 47 clones on the left are transitioning much quicker than the sour jack. Got a 48" tower fan which is awesome I recommend them. (Lasko) and added a couple supplemental lights to get a better spread. The girls are happy, I'm happy 😊
Defoliated alot of the center satellites to get some light down in there a bit deeper. Looking very happy and healthy. I'm going to be introducing pure blend tea and hydroplex on the next rez fill. They're taking around 20 gallons every seven days. Couldn't be happier with these autopots. Slight tip burn because I upped the ppm to 815 but for the most part they are loving it. I don't think I'm going to raise the ppm much higher than it is. If anyone with more experience would like to chime in I'm all ears.
It was a good week, all the girls are developing nicely. Broke the autopots all the way down and cleaned all the lines out re filled the rez and added some hydroplex and pure blend tea to mix. Looking forward to see them pack n' stack 👌 the terp profiles are starting to show up pretty strong with the Dutch 47 and the Sour Jack aren't to far behind smelling more like sour diesel which is awesome. I also stripped out some more foliage as the lower buds weren't developing as well as I'd like so hopefully that helps, hit em where the sun don't shine! 😄 ☮️ 💚&💣🐴💨
I spread their wings and gave them their last hair cut. Time to sit back and watch them fatten up!
Left town for four days added 5 gallons to the rez and got the ppm up to 915. They drank it all so 25 gallons for the week... thirsty chick's. Doing a rez change tomorrow and moving them to the room I built with 9' ceilings and a 1000w hps I'll put the led's out there for supplemental light as well. So the next 3-4 weeks I should see some great gains.
So I got the girls moved into their new room and they seem happy. I like that my night time temps are going to be dropping to 63 should bring out some nice colors. So the massive plant has always shown signs of (tmv) but it hasn't spread to other plants and its clearly not affected by slowed growth. I fired up the hps but I couldn't get the room below 90° so that sucks I need to buy an ac unit. Good week, good growth, got it out of the house, happy wife, happy life 😊
Ac unit installed hps activated! Now it's time to tear down the veg tent and retire the t5's don't worry gelato and zkittlez babies, light is on it's way!
Great week, they like their new room. I've been struggling to keep RH below 50 at night but I'm diligent, figuring out an environment outside of the tent has been challenging but satisfying.
Oh and I went out of town and topped my rez off so it threw me off, I'm actually day 4 of week 6 not in week 7. Sorry to those that it bothers but I'm not fixing it 😄
Officially into week seven about to clean out the rez and replace it with some straight ph'ed ro water. After much research and debate I'm not going to yank each plant out of their basin to manually flush from the top and risk pushing all the salts back into the root zone. Because of the airdomes I'm sure most of the roots are down into the clay attacking the bubbles so straight water for a week should suffice. Pretty exciting, very strong terps, I love watching them chunk up.
So I cleaned the rez and all the basins and started the flush on Wednesday. I might need to get a bigger dehumidifier which is ridiculous... can't keep it below 52% in the off time. Lights on has been easy to keep 35-40%
Flushing, fattening and finishing
My little energizer bunnies, just in time for Easter too 🐣 😄
Wish they would hurry up, Sunday will be day one week 9 not much amber on anything yet. I need to transplant my gelato badly but I'm so close, just waiting for the autopots to be freed up!
Smelling amazing, fighting temperatures as it warms up outside, finally getting some purples from the cool nights. Just sitting back waiting to chop them down so I can get their sisters in the room.
