This is my first time growing. I started by dropping the seed in a glass of water, then let it rest in a dark place and waited for 10hours. When I checked it was still floating in top, i gave it a light tap and it imidiatly sank to the bottom. 8hours later i moved the seed into plastic container with wet paper towel. 24h later it finally germinated. 😊 Soo cute!!! It took some time to grow, but after about 55hours it finally was 1.5-2cm long. So I decided it was time to move it into the soil. I got a 8Liters (about 3 gallons) smart pot and filled it with BioBizz Light Mix. I pre-watered with about double amount of water. So soil was really wet and water was running out on the bottom. The plan was to let it rest for 24hours, close to my heater for the soil to be nice and warm (i still waiting for my grow lamp to arrive in the mail). *I did NOT add any supplements* Since my little seedling took so long to germinate and to grow her little "feet" it kinda threw of my soil watering plan... By the time the seedling was ready, the soils has been drying for 48hours. Double the time from what I planned 🙁 I'm a bit worried about that. I should add the air is pretty dry where I live...specially I'm the winter with all the heaters running. I decided to spray the soil with a mister just a little bit, before I pushed a small hole (about 1-2 cm) into the earth and placed the seedling carefully in it. Then gently covered it with tiny bit of the soil. I came across a post where people use a "humidity dome" and figured to give it a shot. Trying to keep it simple i took a plastic bad and covered the entire pot. Shortly after I could see humidity building up inside the bag. So this is where I am at right now. I ordered a 150w cob light which should arrive after tomorrow and some nutrients from BioBizz (bloom , grow and max) . If anybody has any advise for me I would love to hear it :) I am really unsure about this plastic bad thing... Don't want to suffocate my little friend 😳 20.Jan 1am She's born! 4 days since I first have her a soak in the water cup. She looked pretty yellow, so I understood she probably didn't love the plastic bag i quickly got rid of it, and let her rest in a warm quiet spot. But I think I already did the next mistake I decided to let her sit under my bathroom window. I thought it's plenty of daylight, bit a day later the seedling started stretching more mad more. Lucky my COB light arrived and I put a small grow mix together that I built out of a small cupboard. Another. Day and she still kept getting taller, this is when I decided to add more soil from the top to give the long skinny stem some support. I DID NOT replant the seedling or watered it at this point. I handled everything extremely gently, and now she recovered from it just fine and now has a regular hight @13days / 13cm tall adding the 3 cm that I covered with soild, so that basically makes her 15cm :)

The first few days i had the light running 24/7. But I think it was too far away. I then moved it closer to the seedling and switched to 18/6 schedule. Basically put her to sleep when I went to sleep 😴

So I had a little Panik moment, when the seedling started stretching so much I could almost watch. But I think I i went the right direction in #1 simply adding dry (BioBizz Light mix) soil on top, very gently pushed down just enough to straighten out the stem without forcing or putting too much stress on it. #2 i started running a fan few hours on few off just enough so the stem would slightly wobble. I read that this movement (just like in our muscle fiber) causes tiny tears, which in return actually strengthen the stem and force it to grow thicker and stronger. Like a workout ;) anyways, check out the photos , i would say she looks pretty healthy and happy. Watering: i watered exactly one week after germination. following the system 20% of pot volume. So my pot is 8L, so I would roughly give 1.6L water. I didn't feed nutrients yet. I'm just waiting untill the soil is dry enough to water again (probably tomorrow, which will be day 14). I only have biobizz try pack. On the BioBizz website it says once seedling is between 10-15cm it's time to feed. I also read that autos shouldn't be overfed. And a lot of people propose 1/4 of what is suggested on the biobizz feeding schedule. So I am planning to feed 0.5ml per Liter. And cross my fingers hoping my girl is gonna be happy with that. I'm happy for any tips or suggestions 😃🌱💚

Recovered nicely from the main stem break. Grow definitely slowed down. But smaller branches stretching quite a bit. Preflower has started. On day 26 i felt confident that she healed enough to try some very light lst, as she was growing too tall for my gowbox. She's looking good and healthy. Day 27 took off the tape from the snapp at main stem 9 days ago. It's amazing how she healed herself! Almost looks like she created some kind of glue to heal herself!

Hi, is it normal that the leaves are so dark green? First i thought it's a sign they're super happy , but i just read a post that dark green leaves could be an indication for over feeding...? Any thoughts? Happy growing everyone!

I would normally say that is too dark a green but you can not argue with a healthy looking plant. The dark color could just be the strain/genetics you are growing.

I started upping the Nutrients to 2.5ml biobizz bloom & grow and 1ml Topmax on 2liters. She's drinking much more now I'm watering her about every 3-4 days. I still using LST, to be able to keep her in my mini box which is only 70 cm tall. I build a active carbon filter and installed new lights, which seem to work much better. They are 45 W , 4050 lumen. I'm pretty happy with my current set up. What donut guys think?

Hi there, not recommend to defoliate if there isn’t a good reason to do.Like do some defoliation to lower down tent humidity,to make a good air flow if too bushy.Defoliate some leaves If they are damaged or shaded below the canopy.May be some lollipopping if there are too many popcorn buds underneath.Other than those, shouldn’t do.Those fan leaves are acted like extra sources of energy for plants.Only recommend to defoliate at the start of flowering circle and again at 3rd week of flower or at the end of stretching period.Later than those period, you shouldn’t stress the plant anymore and let her grow happily until harvest.Happy Growing... ✌️

I am at week 8 &week 4 of flower with my PPP auto. I think she's got about 3 more weeks to harvest. The flowers seem quite small comparing to some results I saw from her growers. what do uguys think? Should I cut some popcorn buds?

Ideally any lollipopping should be done before flowering, but some selective and well considered removal of the smallest flowers shouldn't impact your plant too much. After looking through your diary for this plant, I think you may have over done it with defoliation, causing your plant to being unable to produce enough energy for proper flower growth. At this stage you still have a fair way to go before harvest is close, another 4-6 weeks maybe, so you shouldn't bee too concerned with the smallish flowers just yet, but do not remove any more healthy green leaves, your plant needs every one of them to make the energy she needs for flower growth. Comparing your results to others is not really helpful, there will always be others with better results, just as there will be others with lesser results, there are just too many variables involved with cultivation to make comparisons fair. Also, with only one 150 watt light, your plant isn't exactly going to set any records. Your plant still has much growing to do, so don't get too concerned yet, but give her her best chance to perform by not removing any more leaves, unless they are yellow, for by the time they are yellow, they have served their purpose. Hope this helps,........ Organoman.

She's been growing her flowers a bit slower then I was hoping. Maybe the humidity was too low (around 33) i got a small humidifier today. Or she's too close to the light? She's almost grown to the to of the box, i been keeping her down with lst. Maybe too much lst stressed her out too much ? Leaves not turning brown or yellow yet, so i guess she's not close to getting done yet and still has a chance to get fatter buds? Would like to hear your opinions ☺️ Happy growing !

Hi guys, I'm in week 12 going on 13 with my ppp auto. Still no sight of her finishing. Am I doing something wrong? She's looking healthy, all leaves are green only the tiny bit of leave tips are turning brown. Should I keep watering and feeding her like normal?

Hi Mel, keep going for at least 2 weeks on the feed (imo) then check trichomes, your running biobizz so organic 👍 once you have the trichomes where you want (I go for about 10% amber) then flush thoroughly (when your flushing you will know your getting it right as the plant will yellow in front of your eyes!!) Trichomes - clear neither use or ornament, all cloudy - max THC, amber - THC starts to degrade giving the more "I can't be arsed effect' hope this helps 👍

My auto is @ week 13 from seed and week 9 of flower. Her leaves are green and healthy looking. Just tips are slight brown. I tried to check tricomes (i saw quite a few ambers, as first time grower I find it difficult to determine how many procent ambers there are). Any advise?

Looking at all your pics from this week I would say the plant as a whole has a ways to go yet. You might have a branch or two that are further along(probably the spots getting the best light) that you could cut a little early and just chop in stages. It might actually encourage it a bit.

I would flush now and harvest in a week. You have plenty of amber, technically you could harvest now. I would wait a week if the lower buds still show lots of clears.

I did some "light" flushing with double of the normal amount of water (3L). No more nutrients. After that i did some defoliation, so the light can also reach the lower buds. Will give it a few days till soil dries out then give her a dark period. I'm thinking 24h. If all goes well, i will start to harvest :) Update I removed lst too early and bud grew right up to the light ( almost touching). 3 days later i noticed some foxtailing. so i put lst back. I keep checking tricomes. Maybe one more water ( no nutes) them dark then harvest...fingers crossed Update 6.May So Trichomes definitely not there yet. I fed her another round of just pure water no nuts. She seems to have recovered from light / heat stress, no new foxtailing. So thats good news. I'm just gonna keep feeding her plain water from now on and hopefully shell be ready soon :)

You have two choices its just the same as any fresh bud growth in late flower you can let it mature to reach the same as the other bud which can take an extra week or so or you can just crop it and take the good with the bad the ball is in your court my friend shes looking great :) Best of luck for a hearty harvest :)

By the way dark periods do have science behind them. An article was published and showed that two days of darkness increase the THC potency by quite a bit. I am yet to locate the article but it was a proper study with all the science stuff.
