Day 8. She started to develop her leaves. They grew over night quite a lot.
Day 10. I have faced my first problems. Firstly her stem is a bit too thin. She tends to lay down since I have kept her for too long in dark in the beginning. I have solved it by supporting her with two soil pieces ;)
The next problem is in terms of humidity. Sometimes it drops down to 35 % and her leaves have already started deform. I have ordered a humidifier to keep humidity at 50 - 60 %. Hopefully it will work...
Day 11. I have started LST since the Queen looks fine overall.
Day 13. LST show its benefits. The main stem is getting stronger. Likewise new leaves and nodes develop. Looks good so far.
Day 15. I'm impressed how she grew in just 1 week! Now I tied all necessary leaves up to get her in good shape ;)
Day 17. I have topped my Queen for the first time and she looks very healthy. Also LST at some thin branches to strengthen her. I try to keep everything simple and don't water her too much. For now just 100ml two times a week. I wait until soil is really dry since humidity runs at 60 %. I'm feeding her only one time a week with grow nutrition.
Day 21. I have chopped lower leaves and started to feed her bloom nitrogen. It looks like I'm gonna have 4-5 colas. Overall she looks good and develops a strong main stem.
Day 23. She is growing healthy and made another jump towards the sky. Her main stem thickens more and more...
There is just one leaf which shows two little holes. Probably the light burned it while there were water drops on the young leaf... What are your ideas?
Day 28. Some old leaves become yellow and I cut them.
Day 29. Today was feeding day. I saw that some leaves became yellow so I increased nutrition quantity. She is clearly in bloom stage now. It looks like I will get 4 main colas and 2 or 3 small colas around.
All is looking nice so far...
Day 35. As you can see some leaves start to get yellow. Some also turn a bit purple.
Day 36. I've chopped some old yellow leafs. I'm gonna lower the pH level of my water. I think she is suffering from high pH level, so that's why she turns yellow.
I think I messed up my Queen :)
Nutrition deficiency took over and I couldn't find a proper solution. It all started 2 weeks ago. The bottom leaves started to turn yellow and it slowly went up to younger leaves. They developed a purple color and started to show signs of burning.
So I decided to change soil and I will see what comes next ;)
If you have any ideas please let me know! Thank you
Update: after changing her soil and increasing bloom fertiliser she started to look a bit more vital and budsize grew a bit.
I'm suprized how she compensated stress caused by soil change. I tried to be as careful as I was able but I couldn't avoid to harm her roots.
Couldn't resist and already tasted a bit of my harvest. Purple Queen Auto was really nice to grow. Very nice flavours and colors. It's a super smooth weed to smoke and enjoy on the couch. No paranoia or an unpleasant high. This will be one of my favourite.
Your queen looks great still, deficiencies happen due to lockouts, maybe there's some mineral locking out the other or maybe that they're still hungry? Whats your DLI?
@theplantdaddy, so you suggest to cut all crispy purple leaves? Just to clarify if I understand you correctly. And new leaves would still develop although she is in middle of bloom?
@MrMunchi, any chance you could feed a basic salt fertilizer at about 400-500 ppms? I'm sure they can still go longer and results may be better. I would suggest a top dress but that'll take a couple days to kick in
