Soaked the chocolate mints and purple lemonade for a bit less than 48 hours, had a extra solo cup that needed filled so I threw in a NYC DIESEL AUTO, a good friend of mine, says this is the first strain he smoked here in America, so I'm pretty stoked to grow this seed. Covered with additional grow pot coaster, using a basic desk clip lamp and a towel to keep bottom of solo cups warm. Used the clear cup to red solo with drain holes drilled beneath each set of cups. Will most likely let grow like this for the next 2 to 3 weeks while my last run finishes up. Room is my office space and heated by central heat and air. Avg temps are high 20s outside at night and 30 to 45 during the days my house stays between 65 and 71 deg. Humidity today has been about 37% inside. Used a shot glass of great value spring water non ph'd to kick start the seeds. Wish me luck. This is probably my 3rd or 4th full length grow. Thanks.
Everything is going smooth. So far 9 out of 10 seeds germinated after a h20 soak. Sadly it's one of the CHOCOLATE MINT OG's. I'll let her rest with the dome for another few days then I'm dropping another auto flower 🌼 probably a freebie seed from Seedsman. I hope I'm still holding a few auto Blueberry seeds.🙏 or a WEDDING CAKE 🎂 auto. This week I will not be using any nutes or root boosters. Simple purified spring h20 in a squirty and some Solo Cup (starting with shorties and will put 18 oz-ers ontop when the Cotyledones touch the tops of the shorties) Any ideas on whether I should put in air holes at the tops of the domes? I currently do not and lift the tops atleast once a day to vent. Lights are 24hrs a day because it's winter here and my grow space is currently occupied so I start on my desk. Should I tune down to 18/6 in preseedling stage or tune down in a few days at start of 🌱? Sweet, and thanks!
I red somewhere that original NYC DIESEL have been lost long ago. And even breeders want to reproduce it, none have primary plant anymore. Your mission is to verify this statement. Wish you good luck, dude! 💪
