Started this lady off with a topping two weeks ago and a topping + defol. this week. Fed her 1/4 tsp of recharge, 1/2 tsp of Liquid Seaweed and 1/4 tsp molasses. Need I say more? ELB is the SMOOTHEST experience I've had to date with growing. Once I get this girl mothered up, I'll definitely do some stress testing on the resulting clones.
Going super smooth, I'm probably going to top her once more, all around. Then I'll transplant her into a 2.5 gallon and decide if I want to mother her, or throw her into flower... Hoping to get that rootball decently webby beforehand.
Got this new root stimulant from Labmor as a free sample. Looks to be really killer stuff! It says to use this stuff at 1/16tsp/gallon, so it's EXTREMELY potent. Since I don't have measuring tools that small. I simply took a 1/4tsp spoon and simply eye-balled what looked to be a 1/4 of that. Poured that into a 1 gallon water jug, and shook it up.

Seems to be right up my alley for this grow!
You may notice some deficiencies on the lower leaves. I had to move my grow tent out of my bedroom and into my garage. On top of this, I upgraded to a smaller, more ergonomic tent. So for the entire week, she was inside my flower tent.(About 4 days) Hopefully the flowering hormones don't take too long to revert now that she's in place, being fed XSD. I'm going to try just feeding the Labmor for the next two weeks and then get her back onto her original nutrient feed schedule right after.
Alright, loving her progress! Her vigorous growth keeps me on my toes each day, defoliating and topping her constantly! After this set of topping I'm going to chill on that and try just defoliating from here on out. She sits at 8 tops currently and I want to get her to 16. I transplanted her into a small nursery pot, on another note. Fed her mykos and XSD and I swear she didn't even take any recovery time. Just chugged on through.
I did make a mistake when topping, wound up as more of a fim, cut the entire top completely off, so it looks like I'll have 15 tops instead of 16. Oh well, mistakes were made. Still extremely excited to mother this girl. Should be ready for clones within the next month. I should also mention I'm going to try and keep her really low and wide. So that I can non-invasively pluck clones and then have a nice frame to chuck into flower once I'm done 😜.
Cheers all, stay safe and stoned 😷👌
Her form is exactly what I want it to be. Now I'm just going to be defoliating and mainlining up until it's time to pluck clones and put her in flower.
Also, got a new camera :)
She's really starting to take shape now :) I think it's really taking kindly to this nutrient regimen, probably even better than my nutrient regimen from the first go-around with it!
I've built a little structure of plant ties around the lid of her pot to anchor her as she grows. Again, I want to keep her low and controlled so that sending her into flower is painless.
Crazy progress and I'm really just thinking about chucking her into flower without pulling clones. The Banana daddy photos that I have in my veg tent are more than sufficient to keep the year-round supply. So I'll likely transplant her into a fabric pot, and send her on into flower!
Cheers fellow growers, this grow makes me excited for what's to come on the daily 😎🙌
And may all your gardens be blessed as well!
Big steps forward into flower! Transplanted her from the little 1gal into her final home of a 2.5gal fabric pot. Her response to the feedings has been nothing short of stellar. Also, I mistook the amount of tops last week. Rather than 16 tops, we're looking at 19 in total!!!
She's not shooting pistils yet, but since I've placed her into the flowering tent, I've just decided to include the transition in flowering time.
So I've ran into my first issue with her, and that's Powderey mildew. I treated her all week for it. Seems like Neem oil worked in getting rid of that issue. Never had that problem with my first take, and I honestly think I got it from one of the clones I bought from a dispensary a few weeks back. I'm STILL treating them from the day I bought them, for PM as well. Either way, I'm just going to continue spraying her just to be on the safe side.
She's really enjoying the flowering tent with full strength feedings. Her leaves were looking a little bit light at the beginning of the week, but now they're a nice, light-ish green color. Looking much healther.
Hoping week 3 of flower, I can completely rid the girl of PM.
Cheers fellow growers. :)
Starting to get a bit hot in my area so I'm not sure if the autumn hues will show up as prevalent as before. But she's still kicking ass, doing her thing. We'll see.. I've just been feeding her liquid seaweed and molasses. I plan on throwing in 1 more dose of recharge by the end of the week. That should supplement the microbe content. I'm also planning on using overdrive on her the last two weeks. So two weeks from now. Other than that, I've been feeding 2-3 times per week with 1 pH 6.5-6.8 watering on in-between days.
I also wanted to mention that I'm a little worried one of my Banana daddies infected this girl with pm. So I'm keeping an eye out for that. Read on an article that spraying the spores with pH 8+ water kills and prevents it from forming. So I've been spraying her every night when the lights are out, then pumping the fans on high. Seems to be doing the trick, haven't seen any spores on her yet... but I digress, 👀 on her til' she's for sure in the clear.
I'm so glad i got my perpetual grow dialed in. I've swap outs well-vegged and ready to go when the time comes. Blessings on everyone who stumbled upon my garden. I hope you all have dope harvests 😎
Ran into powdery mildew and mites midway through flower, had to hit her with a few spray downs due to grower negligence x.x I corrected that around week 5 flower and then it was pretty much smooth sailing from there. Just make sure you keep her soil nice and saturated(if you're doing organics like me). I let her dry out a few times and she responded by dropping off leaves a little earlier than I'd hope. Other than that, the buds were all uniform, dense and pungent :) Even the popcorn buds have some weight to them.
Again, this strain comes HIGHLY recommended. Cheers all! 😎
