I have high hopes for this grow. I currently have 4 Mimosa EVO ladies in my flowering room coasting into their 4th week of flower which I started from seed. I took clones from two of the best performers and put them in the aeroponics cloner after dipping in clonex. It took about 2 weeks for roots to start growing through and luckily I had a 95% success rate with no water changes and minimal light. I had to strike a balance between making sure the plants are successful and not encouraging too much growth as I need to ensure that this grow doesn’t veg out too big before I empty the flowering room. After waiting as long as possible I then chose to keep clones from the best looking and smelling plant in my flowering room (photos above). She’s a real frosty one, let’s hope she continues to be a keeper 😊 Unfortunately I didn’t take many pictures of the germination process as I’ve been a bit busy, but all the veg weeks from now on will be more detailed. Growth this week has been good, a slight bit of chlorosis due to my over zealous configuration of the PH controller. Which brought the PH as low as 5 for 6/7 hours, this has since been rectified. After some research I found that maintaining PH at 6 and letting the controller keep it that way seems to yield the best results. In the same vein I have not included a humidifier on this grow as again, consistency is key to growing if we believe the books we read... If I was able to ensure I could always keep the humidifier topped up I would prefer more humid conditions however this isn’t something I can keep a close watch on, so rather than creating massive RH swings I think constant dry air is best. This RDWC system is looped through each pot to ensure no dead spots with circulation occurs. I use a Hailea cooler, PH controller and WiFi guardian to keep tabs on all the water parameters. After my last undocumented grow, it has been a game changer. I maybe spend 20 mins a week for maintenance and water changes, that’s all the girls need. Next weeks entry will be posted later today, everything will be synced up correctly from now on. Thanks for reading 🌱
