Zsweet Inzanity clones arrived today and I transplanted them directly into 4l pots with Freedom Farms F1 soil. Fed the ladies diluted nutrient solution.

The plants have developed well over the past week. A few plants leaves started to form a taco shape - increasing the humidity and lowering the temperature seemed to resolve this issue. The plants have been topped after the 6th node at the start of week 2.

Beginning of week 3 and I have selected the 4 best plants out of the 6. Those 4 plants have been repotted into Freedom Farms 20l fabric pots with the same FF Formula 1 premixed soil. These plants have been placed into another tent with the 400W MH to finish vegging.

The plants have been growing rapidly so I’ve added in the first layer of ScrOG net to direct the branches in the right directions. Noticed a magnesium deficiency slowly creeping in because I have been using RO water without CalMag supplementation - I have combated this issue by increasing CalMag with every feed and watering.

Added in a fifth Zsweet Inzanity clone that I had growing on the side from the original 6 clones. Slight defoliation around the base of the stems, so far the plants haven’t been too bushy. Plants still have signs of a magnesium deficiency so I will wait 1 more week until I switch to flower. This will also give the plants a few more days to full up the gaps in the ScrOG net.

Beginning of week 6 and the start of flowering. Plants are growing rapidly and have recovered from the magnesium deficiency. All new growth is looking healthy and green.

Beginning of second week flowering and plants are shooting up. Added a second ScrOG net and directed all the branches to get more of an even canopy and so the branches aren’t growing on top of each other. I did one last defoliation to remove any shoots/stems/leaves that are struggling for light.

Start of week 3 - Plants are still stretching and aren’t slowing down either.. I raised the HPS hood because the tallest stems were starting to show signs of heat stress. Hairs are coming on quickly now, time for the ladies to push out some beautiful bud!

Start of week 4 and the plants have stopped stretching so rapidly, expecting them to stop within this next week. Flowering week 3 defoliation last week, removing most of the fan leaves to allow better light and airflow to the bud sites and to concentrate growth. Many trichomes forming, even up onto the fan leaves.

Nothing much has changed with the plants this week besides those buds slowly growing. Same feeding/watering schedule, just letting them do their thing...

Buds are swelling and becoming heavier (stems are starting to lean). 3-4 weeks left before harvest!

2-3 weeks left of flowering. Buds are starting to bulge out on the sides and are very dense. Only been getting a pine scent up until now, slightly skunky sweet smell starting to come through as well.

Grow Questions
PlumpPelican
PlumpPelicanstarted grow question 4 years ago
Sugar leaves around top colas have started to turn yellow? No yellowing on any fan leaves. Plants are same distance to light and the environment has stayed constant. Only changed feeding cycle from alternating feeding/watering to feeding, feeding, watering (ppm still the same).
Solved
Leaves. Color - Yellow

Could be a CalMag issue, early sign. Are you giving the plant enough calcium and magnesium? I would suggest 100-200ppm per feed.

Pistils are slowly turning brown, trichomes cloudy and buds are ripening. Started flushing the soil this week for the next 7-14 days depending on the progress of the plants.

End of 10 weeks of flowering (recommended flowering time for this strain). Buds have ripened but are not quite finished yet... Will give them a few more days to finish off. Getting very close!

With this strain I vegged for 5 weeks and flowered for just over 10 weeks. The plants produced some impressive size buds with minimal popcorn bud. The buds are coated in trichomes which produce a sweaty-like resin which I haven’t seen before. Man this plant is LOUD - I loved it.
