Start this grow with three WW seeds on Jan 19, used the shot glass method. Let them soak for 48 hours and then transferred to a 3 gallon pot on Jan 21. Sprouted on Jan 24 (Day 1). Originally had light at 30inches and 50% intensity and then realized the PPFD was 100 and way to low for it. This set up was from Day 1 to Day 11. Might have caused a few days of slower growth.

Had my light set up at 30 inches at 50% intensity. PPFD was later calculated at 100, well below the needed amount. Will adjust. Three seeds coded as Alpha, Beta, Charlie.

Adjusted the height set up, reduced height to 15 inches above plant. Changed intensity to 50%. PPFD average for the plant area is 400 much better than the previous level of 100. Might increase next week to 500. Adjusted on Day 11. Seems to be increasing growth dramatically. Day 13 saw more growth, appears the light is helping, increased to 70% intensity at near 600 PPFD now. Seed Beta failed to thrive, might be a bad seed. Never really got passed the photos shown. Eliminated him unfortunately and lined up Alpha and Charlie accordingly. Go figure Beta didn’t thrive.

Increase in light has help speed growth tremendously. Alpha started to have a severe lean on Day 14, used some wood chips and stabilized it, doing much better now and the stalk appears to be getting thicker as an added bonus. Day 18, leaning continues, plants aren’t falling over yet but still have issues with support, tried compressing the soil near them, might add more soil. Probably all stemmed from planting in too shallow soil and low lighting made for an initial stretch and dealing with the consequences of it now. Day 19, increases water to 0.5ml to every two/three days. Perfect amount for full saturation with a little amount collected at the bottom.

Day 21, started watering 0.5L every other day. Keep misting couple times a day because it’s a dry tent. Growth is looking nice and explosive still. Expecting a stretch soon. Day 24, Each plant has different phenotypes, alpha is bushy and shorter than Charlie who is taller and more slender leaves. WW is a hybrid. Day 25, increased water to 750ml every other day. Base water is 8.0 from tap, added pH down, now watering with 6.5 pH water. Should help alleviate any nutrient lockout in the future. Day 26, been raising my lights the last couple of days by two inches at a time to keep up with the growth. PPFD still at around 600 for both.

Day 29, started LST on Charlie. Increased water to 900ml per plant. Day 30, finished LST on both plants. Did 8 tie offs for each. First time doing LST, hope it does well. Day 31, increased water to 1L every 48 hours.

Day 37, increased water to 1.25L every 48 hours. Add some more LST to Charlie. Day 38, cat took a bite of Charlie, not sure if it will recover from the damage. Otherwise, going to add its first nutrients next watering, no nitrogen, only phosphorus and potassium since it appears to have a phosphorus deficiency, red/purple branches. Day 39, added P/K nutrients, increased water to 1.5L per plant per 48 hours. Runoff pH looks better. Modified some LST.

Day 44, rapid onset of brown spots all over it now. Thought it was phosphorus or potassium deficiency but adding it hasn’t fixed it. Now believe it’s a magnesium deficiency and waiting on cal mag to get here. Day 46, got a better pH tester, one I had was bunk, was acidifying soil well beyond were it should have been. Working on improving.
